Can flowering finish early?

I've been having some problems with one of my plants (see other post: https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/216148-mg-deficiency-photo.html) and was wondering if plants can finish flowering earlier than the particular strain's normal flowering period. my fan leaves are starting to die and the buds are fairly large, may even be starting to swell. also, more and more trichs are turning amber. the only strange thing is that i'm only near 40 days flowering, though they did immediately start flowering after 12/12. the strain is sour diesel, though could be a hybrid.

sour disel doesnt have a veg stage , flowering finishes when you finish it but patient is the key. so its really up to you and how high you want to get or what ever man . so be aware of that and some strains you can chop down early becuase of its thc rate bro.

it's not that i'm impatient and want the stuff now, it's the fact that i believe the plant is dying and want to save what i can.

what do you mean sd doesnt have a veg stage? i had them vegging for almost 1.5 months. thanks for the reply.

Dude I'm having kinda same issue wit my sour diesel finishing earlier then expected also I'm like 31 days trichomes ambering up. Wats the deal u think

If that is a recent pic of your girl then you are way to early.
Need a better pic of tops but it looks like you need 4 more weeks to me.
I no expert but I wouldn't pick those yet.
