can anyone tell me anything about papaya

starting my second grow with papaya for a friend of mine. says 62 days to finish from seed should i start flower right away w/12/12 lighting and hps or start it normally.

They will need to veg. The bigger your plants, the more they yield. So I wouldn't recommend 12/12 from the start. Give them a few weeks veg first. From what I've read papaya take average 8 weeks to flower.

i have seen journal from a guy named "kevin" on here... they look really good... search his name and find his shit... he said he will continuealy grow them as he was very plzed with the out come.. i ordered seeds but they did not pop.. i then asked him if he had problems and he too said that germination was a bitch

well i set my buddies aerogarden up for him and he bought a 10 pack used 6 i germinated them for him noprob but im using soil in 5 gal and 400w just wanted to know if i can let them get bigger than that or i have to flower them right away
