can anyone identify these problems?

Yes, the new growth looks like a bit of N tox.
Also looks like you may have had a bit of Ca def. happening.
More details on the grow will help with suggestions.

yeah sorry, i was in a bit of a rush.
it's an auto grow with 3 different strains, so I'm guessing some of them are less sensitive to levels of this and that than others are.
it's flood and drain, and into week 5 from seed. first 4 and a half weeks I was just running nutrifield hydro 2 part nutes with a veg booster started at 0.5ec and built up to 1.2ec by yesterday.
I drained it and flushed and have refilled with nutrifield hydro and a flower booster at 1.0ec. Do you think I should water it down?
I've kept PH at around 5.8 the last few weeks, before that I was having trouble controlling it but it's dialed in now.
One thing that may be an issue is that I am using hydrochloric acid for PH down (it's all I can get - sulphuric and nitric are restricted and phosphoric isn't working as I've got a bit of calcium in the water), so about 30ml of hydrochloric at 25% concentration per day in a 400L res, and I suspect a buildup of the chloride byproduct could be having an effect.
Temps are a steady 24C, lighting is 568 watts across 1.2mx1.2m square area from samsung lm301b chips.
