Can anyone diagnose this? Also an update.

edit: she is almost 6 weeks of flowering now

Started this thread a few weeks ago. It is quite lengthy, and the tl;dr version is basically: rusty spots were showing up on leaves and the best theory was some kind of cal/mag issue.

So, a bunch of dolomite lime and calmag later, she has continued to flourish and her buds are getting quite large. The rusting, however, is still present and has worsened in some areas.

The other girl is quite healthy and has no rusting but still loses a good amount of leaves every week (pictured in one of the photos).

Can anyone give me some feedback? Consider this as an update as well for anyone who is following my first grow bongsmilie

That is 3 weeks of flowering? If you have buds explodeing that fast in just 3 weeks, you plant is sucking nutrients from the fan leafs. Plants in flower will do this under normal conditions. Once you get a few harvests under your belt. You will be able to dial in your grow style to compensate for this. But in my opinion, to try and force your plant into this kind of condition, with beginner skills, with such a nice growth of buds would not be worth the risk. I would carry on as you are, and maybe change nutrient lines, or medium, of grow system next gio around. after a while you will find what works best for you.

What your feeding ph?
If u use soil u should water them between (6.20-6.70ph) that your plants could save Cal/mg from your water nut ....

I'll be honest, I don't check my pH for the nutes. I just follow this recipe and use it with distilled water at 1/2 strength per gallon (last 2 feedings this way.. watered regularly twice in between feeding with distilled water +1 tsp calmag per gallon and also put a tbsp of powdered dolomite lime with *every* watering): http://www.technaflora.com/recipeforsuccess

Unless your city water is to toxic to drink, I would use it before I used Distilled water. Your water has micro-nutrients your plants need. But not if it is distilled

do you mist your plants? sometimes water bubbles on the leafs creates a magnifier state and the light might burn your leafs because of it. it might be one of the explanation or u have an extremely high level of transpiration which will also result in water bubbles on the leafs.
ur grow seems AMAZING anyways :D

woah you do not need to be using cal mag with every watering. i might just have to guess that you have a toxic salt buildup from all that calcium. either way, a good flushing is always in order every now and then. clean em out and see if the problem persists.. can't hurt.

Flower development appears to be fairly normal and should yield some high quality cannabis. This late in flowering, it is unlikely that any macro/micro deficiency can be corrected before the flowers are mature and ready for harvest in the next 2-3 weeks. You might consider continuing the cal-mag for another week or so to promote calyx development but the plants are pulling macro's out of the larger leaves so supplemental feedings with NPK (or even pH correction) would probably be in vain. Some would argue that it would affect taste as well but that is yet another topic for discussion. Nice looking plants.

I use distilled water, and the calmag I put in is no more than 1.5tsp per gallon. Knowing this, is what you say still true?

And thanks, Carl. Btw, love that movie. You Cinderella boy, you.
