Can A Potential Employer Find Out That Your A Medical Marijuana License Holder?

if you go to apply for a job. can they find out if you have a medical marijuana license? and if they pull a back round check on you , will the medical marijuana show up in said backround check?

I would think if you have to get a card from the state,it would be public record.A employer can and most will run a background check and a credit report anymore.OPH

Health records are classified without your consent. they have no need to check your medical history. criminal, yes, but not medical. Just dont get raided, or busted and youll be alright.

plus, it should be legal soon

PHI is any information which concerns health status, provision of health care, or payment for health care that can be linked to an individual. This is interpreted rather broadly and includes any part of an individual's medical record or payment history.

If you don't get the job, at least you can't blame the medical marijuana! (Unless you just didn't use enough before your interview) :)
