well i have 1 pure female and another that i thought was pure female till i noticed a few pollen sacs. So im sure its a hermie, small hairs galore forming in the nodes but now a few balls as well. Can this plant pollinate my pure female? I would imagine it can but im not really sure.. I only have 1 flowering room so either way the he/she is staying in there, was just curious..thnx alot ------------------------------------------------------------------420

about 2 weeks flowering....so ya say if i clip the balls off...it will remain mostly female and not pollinate? and at the same time...i dont want to clip off balls that arnt balls is ya see what i mean...there are a few very noticable balls i know i can clip, but where the hairs are growing there are also, very tiny clusters of balls. I really dont want to clip them and damage the flower sites, but i deff will clip off all accessable balls... thnx--420

without removing the plant, you are going to have a seedy crop. Many of the balls will be just under the female flowers, and will not be visible.

sometimes you can just pick off all the male flowers before they open, but if some of the flowers opened and spread pollen already you may get some seeds...

using Dutch Masters Reverse will kill all male flowers...If I suspect a hermie, I spray her down on flowering days 1, 7, and 14 and no seeds...

Not to mention that if you cut them, oftentimes more will grow back in its place. It's a pointless battle. Either chop it (carefully), or send it packing and let someone else take care of it, if you really want to get a harvest off of it.

hmm thats interesting...i didnt even know that male pollen balles opened...this is my 4th attempt at growing but my 1st ever crop that made it to flowering...looks like i 'MAY' be able to clip the balls. i looked carefully and the top 3 nodes of the plant are hairs only as of now and no balls....the balls dont start appearing till the 4th node from the top and on down..there not realy scattered either, just 2 small clusters in the left and right of the main stalk at every node section...again from the top 4th node on down...so clipping them off may be an option..but if they may grow back will just delete the purpose..by clipping em it will prolong the production of seeds im sure but at the same time..my buds may end up full of pollen and no seeds...defeats the purpose 2 ways...no seeds and buds full of polen to smoke...hmmm..ill let ya guys know what i decide to do..thnx alot for the info..-------------------------------------------------------------420
