Camping!

I have the last 10 5/4 deck boards to do. Did the first 27 then 3 back surgeries and now I am going to buy more wood and pay someone to finish my deck
Need to paint mine. Tried stain and didn't care for it.

If I fall it isn't good I can't get up. Been doing exercises to improve flexibility and balance. I have one Arm I destroyed the Shoulder so basically it don't work.

Love camping and did it with family for years. Dad had a pop up pull behind and we learned all the jobs for setting up and running a camp. In my late teens and 20's I used my ability to put up with camping discomfort in various duck blinds all over the USA.
Now?
Now I have Marriott rewards points and a time share on Hilton Head Island for 2 weeks a year. I choose motels based on the important things like are they going to give me a cookie the size of my hand on check in and where can I get a good pasta dish.

The guy who used to run 2 day island parties on the Maumee river would shake his head and go catch a fish and cook it on a stick.....
That is one thing I'll miss if they do away with FEMA.

We would stay in some nice places and some I didn't care for.

I don't know how this works but we take FEMA Classes and decide where you stay but not FEMA we are DHS.

Cut my wife back to 20 hours but she has been working more hours than ever.

I guess they still go me to call in if they need me even though I consider myself worthless. Heck still have my Badge.

She was a bit upset earlier in the week as the thermostat didn't work and she immediately blamed rodents as we'd found some walnuts in the trailer. There are chipmunks and red squirrels but no mice. So I took the unit apart and found there to be no power on the red wire. Ran a temporary wire from fuse panel, and the unit was fully operational for all ac/heat zones. So I ran a short permanent wire over from the adjacent light switch, with a fuse in between - saving $362 + tax.

If they don't find you handsome, at least they find you handy! That's why I'm the awesome Oz. :hump:

Looks like oxidation possibly on a couple of connections (particularly W8)?

That's entirely possible as it can get quite humid here and the solder oxidizes easily. It's camp good and still works, which is the camp good criteria.

The troubleshooting included putting a toner on the wires, then used a tracer to listen to where the tone disappeared. It was in the ceiling, but wasn't about to rip things apart, as a workaround beats a teardown/cleanup any day.
