Calmag deficiency? Help

I have never had to check runoff, but i keep feedings low, and water twice in between. If they look hungry i up the dose.
I dont get a ton of runoff either
Interesting how people do things so differently ... we feed, feed, feed, and never let up. We start our clones out at 900-1000ppm . We prob waste alot of nutes, and we get about a half gallon or more per plant of run off in 7 gallon pots. I think it keeps things flushed out and getting the fresh nutes in there.

Well this has been so much better then starting my own thread, sorry to the OP for jumping in but when theres a bunch of exp growers in one thread you have to act quick. Thanks all!

Last question, feed every day or let it dry back a little?

I water every other day to 20% runoff and that’s worked well for me. The mix gets dry on top but not totally dry throughout. After 72 hours or so my plants will start to wilt.

I’ve heard of people doing more frequent irrigations or drip system I think it’s a pretty forgiving medium.

FFOF costs more because it has more nutrients, most likely. It's really all you need to grow to harvest which is what budzbuddah was trying to tell all of you. The proof was in the pic. Amazing that people are not good at learning and repeat the same wrong things over and over. No point in trying to discuss organic vs. hydro (I guess that mean synthetic), but then the point was missed a long time ago. If you want good success with less work, you spend the extra money and can do what budz does, or you can do what I suggest which is - use a larger container of FFOF soi, like 10 gallons or more rather than top dress. That's the only difference between what I say and budz. That and I say you probably don't need to pH your water but obviously his methods work him cuz he gets FFOF and doesn't do much else. All of you missed that point, or so it seems. Unreal.

Pot, meet kettle

maybe if I speed read half the posts on this thread i'd have your same masterful comprehension.

no ones missing any point. the past 2 pages have been about promix, not FFOF. and no one is on your lawn.

The last thing you'd want to do is attempt speed reading these forums as they are full of bad info. feed, water, feed, check pH of the runoff, give more calmag, etc. The point of FFOF is to remove the worry. That's what budzbuddah was trying to tell you. Obviously pupoinspace doesn't get it.

Ah i see. Either you're a troll or you're literally disabled. Even after i told you we're not talking about FFOF you still bring up FFOF.

Go back to your hole with your precious FFOF.

Till the pots are bone dry.
If you dont know the weight of the pot dry yet, wait for the leaves to start drooping.
They will perk up within 10 min of watering....
New plants can go over a week in a 5 gallon without needing watering. With an 8 week veg, my flowering plants in 5 gallon pots need water every 2 to 3 days or so.

new update waited from Friday till today which is midnight Tuesday now Wednesday.. to water plain ph .. im thinking they are both close to flower the little things on the stems are sticking out but no hairs that I can see so far.. I also took a few leaves blocking light off.. I think they look nice and perky to me .. what you guys think?

You probably have the light too close, making it short. If light is too far away, the plant stretches and becomes weak. You have to find the best distance. Plant should be taller.
