So I made a previous post about this and I got a lot of help I appreciate it and it seemed to me that the solution worked. But maybe a week later I’m seeing orange rust spots again but this time it’s coming on the main fan leaves and I want to get it situated before it gets worse like before. Also there are starting week 4 tomorrow.

Stop overwatering and your problems should stop...
Aside from that, when you are feeding from bottles and growing in soil it is a good idea to water a few times between feedings. Helps prevent buildup in the soil.

Thank you so how long should I wait to water and should I flush them with just ph balanced water?

Till the pots are bone dry.
If you dont know the weight of the pot dry yet, wait for the leaves to start drooping.
They will perk up within 10 min of watering....
New plants can go over a week in a 5 gallon without needing watering. With an 8 week veg, my flowering plants in 5 gallon pots need water every 2 to 3 days or so.

Never feed full strength. It's like giving a baby 800mg of motrin.

Water til you get run off in between feedings. It will help push what the plant isn't using up and dilute the soil, so when you feed next it's not combined with the previous feeds leftovers. That will send your fan leaves to hell.

^ that is utter nonsense. ^
Feeding isn't necessary in FFOF. I guess hydrokid hasn't learned that fact yet. Keep feeding in FFOF and that will send your plants to hell faster than anything else.
I agree with that a bit, but an established plant in ffof will need some kind of feed. Whether it be a topdressing or transition to bottles. 5 gallons of soil can only feed for so long

ill never understand why hydro shops sell people FFOF and bottled nutrients. Are the profits that much better than promix/sunshine mix? Setting people up for failure all over it seems.

Same issue on this site. Organic growers giving hydroponic growers advice and vice verse. Clusterfuck haha.

Looks like you are riding the blurple train , those light systems tend to require a bump in CalMag as grows go on.

Autos need very little in nute support , as most bagged mixes can carry an auto full term with top dressing or dry fertilizer scratched
in. Throwing bottles at it will cause more headaches than doing simple adjustments. You can run TAP water with FFOF.
Run the ph at or near FFOF soil ph ( 6.3 from bag ) , adjust 6.5 - 6.7 and leave it alone. FFOF initially can power an auto for weeks all by itself .... Some strains are sensitive to this hotter mix but will acclimate if you do not add more fertilizer on top.

That is one of the biggest mistakes with FFOF ... let it do the initial job in feed , then as plant begins to exhaust it a bit , add more soil or a simple dry fertilizer ( megacrop / Happy Frog fruit and flower / Dr. earth / Gaia or similar ) .... even a simple 4-4-4 npk. Most tap water will have cal / mag intact , RO and similar will NEED it replaced ( depending on filtering methods ).

I run FFOF this way and that way .... not much to overthink.
Also , take any hydro shop advice with a grain of salt ..... their job is to move product , whether for good intentions or not.
