CALLING ALL HASH AND WAX MAKERS!!!!!!!!!

You do get more yield with dry ice hash bit it's not the best bang for your buck. From extractors and smokers point of view.

For one dry ice hash can't be dabbed. It tastes like shit due to all the plant matter and trichome stalks an any other particulates on the plant. It doesn't have much of high. The dry ice destroys the trichome heads.

Ice wax and rosin is full melt.

2. From the extractors point of view. Dry ice hash goes for $6 a gram if it even sells. Ice wax and rosin goes for $50- $100 a gram. No money to make of dry ice hash.

Bho I won't touch unless I see a lab test showing 0 ppm's. Then I'm still even hesitant .

Bho goes for $40- $50 a gram. Has a huge overhead.

Running a pound
Dry ice hash takes 5 minutes to make. Rosin takes about a day.

Ice wax depending on size of washer can take 6-12 hours of Washing material and cleaning heads. Then drying and curing.

So better quality takes more time. If you actually tried quality full melt ice wax or rosin. You would so change your tune.

Each method , process and result is a world of difference

If argue any of tnis. Then you definitely are trolling.

@hyroot you are beating a dead horse man.

GQ doesn't even know the difference between a capitate stalk and a glandular trichome head or a cystolithic hair. He doesn't understand trichomes.

He thinks Dry ice hash and 99.9% pure heads dry sift are no different than each other. He's clearly never made any hash before.

He thinks connoisseur is a myth. LMAO. He has no clue what terrior is.

Read your posts they're already there.
Yes they are. And i have. And i cant find the contradictions you speak of. Sobi asked you to point them out.

And you wouldve if there were any, as i have seen you go to the trouble more than once in other threads.

So... point out the contradictions???

You speak for all extraxtors and smokers now?

I have no problem dabbing dry ice hash. And nobody i know has had a problem.

Dry ice hash goes for $6/gr. ??? Wow. Ive never see less than 10. Of course it is cheaper...its easeier to make, yields more and is less pure. But again...a blind taste test would prove you couldnt tell the diff between that and the finest bubble or rosin.

Anybody that runs a pound of trim in dry ice in 5 minutes is doing it wrong and so theyre getting shit results.

I have tried the best there is in (Vancouver, BC, where these techniques were pioneered over 15 years ago and have been perfecting ever since; California, Colorado, Wash are all late comers to this party) in bho, ice/bubble and co2.

Ive also had the best Amsterdam, Morocco, Spain and India have to offer, in both weed and hash...various oils....

I can tell by your attitude that youre a young fellow and have much to learn about all of this.

I spose youre right...

Ive got a basement full of White Russian chicks that need tending to anyway...

He was referring to you.

Hash making was not pioneered in bc. It was pioneered thousands of years ago in Nepal, genius. Bho came from L.A. icewax came from norcal (Matt rize tech). Rosin originally from amsterdam. The recent tech is from california. Bc only pioneered bc-sters. Mia was making water hash in Amsterdam with extract bags before bubble bags ever existed.

I promised myself I wouldn't feed the troll but I gotta clarify one thing. Dry ice hash COULD be cleaned up and become probably close to full melt. But it would take HOURS of carding through dry sift screens to get it to that point. And even when your done it won't be pure heads, maybe 80% or so.

What about using static tech? I would imagine static could speed up the process some but yes, dry ice hash definitely has the potential to be cleaned up.

But I have my worries about nasty residuals from the dry ice. I should shoot Horatio a DM on instagram and ask him about what he mentioned previously on hash church. He once mentioned some kind of residue left behind from the dry ice hash. I'm all about the clean so I def don't want to be dabbin on that. Unlike most people, I deeply care about what I put into my body.

Actually no. Bho was started in BC in the 80s, long before the US west coast new what good weed was. By the early 90s BC was the largest supplier of weed to the US west coast (and the rest of Cananda). In the later 80s Amsterdams Coffee shops proudly displayed "BC hydro" on their menus and charged TOP dollar for it all, as it was widely reguarded as the best indoor weed in the world at the time. Canadian Ice hash and bho were items that regualrly sold out in Amsterdam coffee shops before anything else did.

As i said...California and Colorado arenway latevto this party and if you dont want to take my word for it then you can research it... and youll see...

This was never about dry ice hash being better or purer than anything ...or about making it so...

It is about dry ice hash being the best bang for your buck all around...it is faster, less dangerous, less messy, and it yields very well and the result is as pure as it needs to be, given that nobody can taste the difference between a fult melt and an almost full melt... it is just not physically possible for tastebuds to discern the difference

Hahahahaha lmao. Just don't say that in public or at any cups. Everyone in the world will disagree with your statements. Just like everyone on here has.

Contradict means to say or do one thing then do or say the opposite. That's what you have done several times.

You guys can try and clean up dry ice hash through sift screens. The problem there is the dry ice destroys the heads when shaking everything. So it will never be full melt or pure

Remember with ice wax or dry sift it's all about being as gentle as possible to get the best quality. Dry ice hash goes the opposite direction

You keep saying it, but you won't quote even one. Because you can't. There's none...

when you get down to it

pure can mean a couple things. and none are completely perfect..

sift really of any type..obviously methods play a role..will have a small amount of plant matter and mostly intact trichome heads as well as some stalks.
this retains much more of the light esters etc that could have been lost

rosin uses heat, pressure and a filter to attempt to discard the plant matter..which does inevitably rupture cells, wether through the process or apoptosis of the tissue and carries to the color etc of the product. some compounds are lost as well and degradation to some of the more sensitive compounds.
but because of this the end product is more like hash oil

solvent extracts attempt to dissolve the trichomes leaving behind plant matter and low heat with a vacuum to preserve the goods. more compounds are lost with this than sift but less than rosin. the polarity of the solvent will determine how much extra wax is extracted unnecessarily from plant matter. winterizing will remove some heavier waxes but the extra fluid to discard ends up causing a loss in some lighter compounds.,why i prefer a more polar solvent like qwet or qwiso even with the yield loss. (iso is a good middle ground imo) but can also give a much dirtier product

whatever you choose is on you.
personally i quite enjoy good sift and put it right below my qwiso. i first made rosin idk 10 years ago, before i had ever heard the term rosin applied to cannabis...then it was the more sciency sounding hot melt extrusion technique we are familiar with. i have done it plenty..but would prefer the sift beforehand or the bud

but i also like 50-60% thc and lots of terps. you can tailor your extract to what suits you. getting quite high percentages of thc in rosin etc.

so whats pure to you? or why do you even want pure? pure what? thc?
id rather smoke quality sift than un wint bho laden with waxes that arent exactly good for you. i would rather smoke an extract high in terps than thc.
pure to me is the extract that most resembles the bud it came from.

anyway...im just talking...
You did not mention anything about a uniform or a dress code. I just thought I should mention it:)

Iv made some pretty damn melts dry ice hash, you don't have to sake it like mad man for 25 min, try a light shake for maybe 15-30 seconds, you won't yield anywhere near as much but the melty goodness is possible to get
