Sounds like damping off to me. Caused by some kind of fungus that attacks the stem and basically rots it until it decays completely.

I'm not entirely sure there's anything you can at this point. I'd let the planting medium dry out completely for a while and see if it helps, though.

stem rot maybe. You mylar isn't cutting off oxygen to the top of the grow container is it? What is the temperature and humidity level in there?

Don't flower until you have your grow dialed in 100%.

got a fan on them all day when the lights are on and im in a bubbleponics system so the medium is always a little wet. shit shit my babies. the temp varys from 76 to 84 durring the day. i took the mylar off. should i take them out of the system?? and is there such a thing as filling the system with too much liquid?

So in this bubbleponics system do you have the roots in the water/solution? Looks like a lack of oxygen. What size is the container and what size air stone & air pump did you use?

I have had a similar problem when I tried DWC (weak stem, but your plants look oxygen starved/overwatered). Cut a slit in a straw and put it around the plant.

i have the pot summereged in the nutes the tops of the pot are prolly 2in above water there is a 250g air pump with two 4in airstones and two circle ones the pump was only running on half so i turned it all the way up the container is 10g

Cut a slit in a straw and put it around the plant.

I don't care for the straw idea; my thinking is plastic may keep moister trapped against an already soggy stem. I'd tie it up with a string attached up high, or loosely anchored to an upright support.

Also keep the fan running 24/7 for good air circulation day and night

i took the lava rock off the top and put expanded clay pellets they are bigger i thought they might let more are in and let the medium dry a little, what about a fugacide?

That's a good point. I've never really had to combat this problem as I haven't ever 'soggified' my stems. Staking it up would be a better solution, it's just tough for soilless mediums. Might have to tie it from the top (annoying). Gotta find the underlying problem though.

I am rereading your post (while stoned mind you) and from what your saying the bottoms of your pots are in the water? Only the top what 1/2? is out of the water? Is it more like 1/4?

I would lower that water level down so the pots are out of the water about 1/2". the bubbler should keep the pots moist and the roots will seek out the water when they are ready. Your roots are just drowned.

2 4" airstones and 4 "little circle ones" doesn't sound like enough. I would get 4 10" airstones (depending on the shape of this container and run them on 2 of those 20g pumps.

The more oxygen you give them the better and these things are cheap. It's not a fishtank and the roots will be sucking that oxygen out. At least until they dry out a bit, they definitely need some relief.

ive exposed the rotted part of the stem so maybe it will dry and i will take some nutes out now and its a 200g air pump damn thing keeps me up at night that is why it was only on half lol

when i took the lava rock out and saw the roots they were really white and looked like a good amount of them. now these are just bag seeds and its my first grow should i just pull them and start over or can i really save these things? ive got some g force seed on the way i just wanted to get a grow under my belt the contanier is 10 inches deep and the pots are 5 1/2 how much water should be in the tank like just right under the pot?

I'd give them some time. There is a chance they'll pull through, just give them some TLC for a few days. If they start to improve, great. If not, then like you said it's bagseed and no big loss. It's a learning experience, though, right?

If the roots are bright white you have a very good chance of pulling through this. Just encourage as much airflow as possible to keep that stem dry and keep that nute solution down a bit. Keep a close watch though, it's easy to let the root zone get too dry with those clay balls.

So you have a netpot with clayball in it and then lava rocks on top? All of this sitting in a bubbler with the water now down at 1/3 full and the netpots are clear of the water?

Just want to make sure I'm understanding your setup right.

yeah thats about it, im headed to work now but then i get home i will take a pic or 2, and calling all growers was a catchy topic to draw people in lol

Could be a air folicule in the seed when you germanated it or in the clone when you cloned it.stake it out and tie her up she will still produce but i found but damaged seeds if gremanted or clones produce less.sorry about caps forgot to take it of.But the plants look fine you done a good job nice tight internode's so you will still be looking at a few ounce of each one.Stem damage can also be caused by spraying when seeds are very young or the clone has just been took a drop of water weighs alot to a small plant and can cause bending. If this is the case there will be a void in the stem causeing air to get trapped. That is why has soon has a plant is a couple of cm tall if from seed or a fresh clone i tie them straight away because i spray the plant with superthrive all the way till she has roots good ones.
