ppm read 1760.............in 2 days i add one scoop of beastie bloom (fox farms powder) and some of the big bloom (fox farm line worm and bat poop for the microbos)

should i trim this branch off

as i see not it is not getting enough light compared to the other and since it is so far down on the plant



it is the lowest one on the right
way i figure the plant can lose 30% and still be good (correct if i am wrong correct me please)
it is so low it not going to do much so the benfit to cutting outweights the lose of what it would make
since it one of those dotted branchs it is solid so will seal fast
in the end makes shape like if u put forearms together and hold hands open to the side facing up
so weight in what do u think cutting it is ok and smartest choice or leave it and just go with flow of plant

check out the velcro one wrap....or one strap ...................i love that shit it is so nice and easy to hang the filters with or otherthings

but do u think the branch should come out and the plant will like it more

oh, and look for a shorter growing auto for your next run, that fking thing is huge for a auto.

i don't think it matters much but I understand you think it may be stressing the plant out.
if it were me and i saw a discolored crappy looking branch on a monster i'd just clip it
either choice may be slowing it from flowering, so It's kinda your decision which is more important

if you can LST it and get it healthy , or supplement additional light , i'd do that.

guys ........the plant is a whole 4x4x6 tent and i mean a whole tent

cutting .........i had to cut that main cola off for hitting the light then pushing the wings ........stress it is with in 4 inches of a 600w hps (it has to be in a tent to controll the smell with a state trooper next door) other wise i would of left it in the room not the tent
this was my first hydro and i have no fricken idea what to do on this and with a monster plant with all this going on
and as for time and autoflowering it is passed that point we are into uncharted time here 74day and looks like 3 to 5 weeks before finished

can you take the light out and hang it sideways ? then it can grow into the roof of the tent with no problems might want to get another light for the bottom too
i would keep it forsure , didnt realise it was an auto at first never grown an auto before, hope it turns out well
i thought autos were supposed to flower when much smaller not sure what the best photoperiod would be
if it is an auto i think 20 hours or more, but if its not keep it on 12 i guess
perhaps some auto phenotypes do not show the auto trait putting it on 20 hours might make it veg ?

i was tring hydro running under the idea that if i increased the amonut of water the plant could use that the bud thickness would increase too .............so i did one of the strain in soil .........63 days it was done and got 2 oz (so figured it would be a small plant)

nope ......i mess up on the feed and gave it way to much at a prefect aborbtion rate and turned into this monster

as for lights i am at the limit i can run 3 tents
1.......2 600 w hid in one tent MH/HPS for autos soil
2 .......currently a 600w (can be a 1000w) hps ............this is the tent in photos
3 .......t5 2 foot 8 bulb (starting tent / dry cure when it is time for that)

i blown a 15 amp breaker already with those lights and the fans/air pumps(3 of them 1 for hydro u see 2nd for new hydro and 3rd for water bucket) ..........looks like i blown the whole line of outlets in the wall since with the new breaker that the line is not grounding...........so i have power cords running from 3 different breakers in the house now including one off the main pannel not going to mess with anymore power untill i can get into a new place something with 20 amp or 30 amp breakers

by the way i said fuck it ...chopped the branch ..............at this point nothing i can really do so might as well make it a full go on gut plant (see if got my grandfathers green thumb )

well since i am now on compete gut for the plant

i decided to see what 22 lbs of sugar and 10 gallons of water will do (2 mash buckets inside the tent ) pumping out Co2
just confirming what i am thinking

Co2 is heavier then air so the tent will fill up and as the Co2 builds it raise and then will be ejected ( this is the first time i put them in the tent before i would just set them infront of the powered intake ) but that is not a choice this time since it would block my access to a tent and my work desk

and for those that do not know ...........darkbrown sugar 10 lbs to 5 gallons of water will make a mash of 20% ach (1 gallon of 200 proof rum ) to make it u use yeast.....yeast eats sugar burbs Co2 and pisses ach ..............in the end i will have somewhere around 2 and half gallons at 170 proof

well we are deep into the shit now .......day 84
exped had fun looks like the Co2 from the mash buckets were a good idea and cliping what i did

my issuse now is the 6 in basket is bending under the weight of the plant and it leaned in ........counted with a bucket of bolts/nuts for a counter weight
other issuse is 5 ppl came over ........someone in that 5 talked and now it is known i have a monster plant .............i have a remote camera that beeps my phone when i go out (rare now) ..............so this is a note to all u growers DO NOT LET ANYONE IN WHEN U GOT A MONSTER OR LARGE HARVEST INCOMING............hint to help u figure out who ..........it is normally the one bitching about it the loudest overcompensating .......i know who did it and have cut him out (if u are going to deal always have a back up plan)

i check the buds tricromes still clear so taking off weight in a multi stage harvest is off for atleast a week maybe 2......for those that are learning from this .........honey on the braches where u cut for doing a multi stage it helps the plant less stress.........and rem to clean the sheers before u cut

i am doing a mutli stage so post a pic of what it looks like before i cut ...buds i taken off and what it looks like after the cut...........going to run 3 more weeks and then clip it all down use the tent for a soil grow i got of ultra lemon haze (it is a 90 day auto too)

it will be 97 days from seed to cut for the plant here is the herb iq report as of about 20 mins ago

?s comments after all this there is no way u can say autos suck ..............i do not have a scale to weight them as they hang but from my past exp i looking at atleast HP now 2 teirs is normally half a lb when dried might be more with the denceness will post a pic of the final few once i clip of the tent of the rack

come back in 7 maybe 8 days and see the pics of it all lined/stacked in quart jars that holds 1 oz each with the final weight (on this batch leaving the lower fluffy budds for 2 3 weeks then pulling them in if they are couch locking wahooi know ppl want it )

i know what i spent on feed and time period once the whole thing is dried i post the final numbers for this crazy ass grow ...........i like to thank the ppl that gave me advice and the ppl that said autos can not do that well

the light damage was a lot less then i thought myself ............other then having to cut the main cola off this was great

this round i was able to pull in 11 oz ...........9 days drying

sorry 7 of them sold already 2 ppl came by while i was clipping and took them off me (huge snow storm comIng) ...............i can post pics of the other 5 if u want to see and pics of the stems i cut off those branches (the only stem left is the bud and little at the top to make sure the cure comes out well )

the tent still has massive amounts of buds ............i plan to run it 2 more week with feed then hit it with a 5 day clean water and cut the rest (this should be couch locking by then ) this stuff is that active weed i like so i can keep moving around during the day

here is the break down
feed cost this plant 60 bucks
time was 93 days then i got my first 11 oz
power was under 1 600w so looking about 40 55 bucks of power

so we will go high 110 for this plant power feed time .......11 oz frist cut 300 per oz
so fo 110 bucks i made 3300 and i still have atleast half a pound in the tent
