2 quarts of MG is $11 1 quart of FF is $10. i am mixing:

1 part MG potting soil
1 1/2 parts MG organic soil
1 part FF
1 part perlite
topped with bark.

i will use MG outdoors ALL day long. it is great for the veg cycle, loaded with nitrogen!!

i can get the fox farms at the hydro store for $18 a bag or i can go across town to the lumber yard and get it for $10.

i had to talk with the guy at the hydro store. for some reason the "mexican" guano has hair and little critter parts in it. kinda gross. the jamacian for bloom is very nice. it's like fine ground coffee. very clean. so it's either mexican bat or peruvian sea bird. well the sea bird turns into bird shit globs when it gets wet. very messy. so the hydro guy and i have decided there is not much choice for vegging guanos. i still swear by it.

I find it funny that you treat bat shit like food, lol maybe it's just the mushrooms ive been eating but i dont think the plants care. thanks for the heads up on the bird doo, ill stay away from it.

oh................................my...............................garsh. it's not even july. in the past 3 weeks i've fed them 1/2 jar of crystalized 30-10-10 orchid food. i mixed it 2 tablespoons per gallon and fed them over 50 gallons. i have also surface fed 5lbs of mexican bat guano. i want to keep my growth a little slower. they are already looking me in the eye. i feel over-taken in my chair. so i was keeping the feeding at a minimum but the leaves started fading and my garden started to look pale. but when i feed them they grow 2 inches a day.

cali love is correct. but fuxk so-cal its all about nor~cal
Bite your tongue. Just because you ended up in the wrong half of the state doesn't mean that you can hate on the more fortunate. SoCal isn't a place, it's a way of life.

You people will learn some day that southern oregon (the banana belt) is the place to grow. At least ATF thrives like a weed around here.

If you are on a water cut back consider using the water from you washing machine. As long as it is just laundry detergent your plants or any plants will love it. And it is water that is just going down the drain. Water all my shrubs with my "gray water".

i worked in so cal for a year 2 years ago. totally hated it. to over-rated. i did live in Balboa back in my youth. now that was fun. i'm just to old for that lifestyle now. i've been thru orgeon. saw a trooper on the highway pulling someone over. that dude looked serious mean. big wide brimmed hat pulled down tight. straight up military walk. we zipped by and kept right on going until we got to washington. cops in cali wear shorts.

northern California is the birth place of prize marijuana. how can ANYONE argue with that. they call it the "emerald Triangle". i'm just south of that but a 2 doobie drive and i'm there. you can rant, you can dance but this is where you ALL know you should be.
