Old thread but does anyone have experience with the SolarStorm systems and how many inches away from the canopy do you keep your solar storms? Thanks

I only have the smaller 'Flare unit, but it had the same LEDs and I had to keep the unit >=16"(in flower) to avoid bleaching etc.

How many inches past 16" did you keep it? Would 18" be too close for the solar storm 800?

I think 18" is right about the sweet spot for most strains w that lamp..
16-20 generally.
