Caliber III is the recommended hygrometer of choice around here, so I picked up 2. They work great!

They are both in jars of lemon skunk right now, 2 months into cure they read 61 and 62, still curing in the right zone -- LOVE IT! Man is it dank...

i get em off ebay or amazon when i can get a bargain. amazon rapes you on shipping. i don't like to pay 20 dollars when i don't have to. the cal 3 is accurate to within 1 degree. all the other digital models i've seen are accurate to within 5 degrees. and because i need to know the EXACT number i don't fuck around. i do have several analog models that read close to the cal 3 at between 50 and 70rh, but when it gets real dry or real humid the reading is off by as much as 5 or 7 degrees in those models.

Did you actually read them? One guy gave it a star, because the battery died and the company didn't send him a new one. Another took it to a Guitar Center store where he placed it in a room whose humidity be believed to be accurate and didn't like the readings, etc, etc. There are also 59 5-start reviews, if those help. Good luck.

there are great (like tony the tiger). i bought two from ebay last august. came in great for curing in jars. love the small size. hanna makes one similiar to this but way more expensive. They come in handy to0 for measuring different places in my grow tent.

just a great tool to have for any grower; compact and accurate for those who are anal about their growing environment live me :) love the little magnets that come with it. did the salt test to test the accuracy and have been satisfied since. I believe the directions say not to do the salt test but did it after the fact. its all good!

I had one go out of whack on the humidity by 5% too high. I am basing this on the other four I have that were in synch with each other. Other than the one, the other four have been working well. I recommend them.

I still use the 5% too high one to measure temperature at the canopy level, and just subtract 5% humidity from what I see. Can't bring myself to throw it away.
