Cali weed grow technique ?

I will add pics of the quality now
Hello from SoCal.
Looks like top-shelf dispo weed to me.
Rock hard nugs, frosty, "cured" to seemingly 0%rh - almost powders in the grinder.
Not a lot of aroma, but what's there is usually sweet - a cake-based hybrid of some sort. Once in a while we find a decently scented jar.
---at least that's what the dozens of dispos in this town have.
Good stuff - works very well and I'm grateful it's (finally) legal again.

You can grow better much better than that IF you can follow direction.
"The secrets" are all here - find a journal that looks like what you want and copy it - post a journal.

From California and I've grown outside now living in Canada growing inside. I had no control outside. Yes the Sun and weather made for big plants. If it wasn't for caterpillars eating my plant or a host of other critters trying to fuck up my garden. I'm not even going to bring up the white power mildew. Growing inside everything is so climate controlled and critter free. Talk about organic. Nothing but dust on my leaves indoors. I don't think you can grow anything better than a good indoor grow. With a good cure its money3AFEFA16-1042-4C6B-A822-6FF54A43F85D.JPG2C05D580-E17E-4FA4-8B0B-9EE3E3E0F05F.JPG

Application and types of PGR's. Read, it's science gone amok, not magic.
Back to how to get that dense high thc quality bud that comes from Cali and Spain
Did you not read it? it explains what to do for what effect.
You have to be able to follow labeling to apply it. Then at least you will understand what PGRs are.
Some are natural, but not what you are looking for.
Go do your homework. You need to understand what you are doing, you are altering a growth cycle.

Do you have no pets, because I feel like when you do the random stray pet hair (even if they are kept out of the room) is inevitable. albeit I suppose that depends on the type of pet. Goldfish ain't sheddin.

Nah man I can get my buds nice and dense and smelly just as good as any uk bud I come across , theirs some type of PGR’s that’s being used as their is a similar taste in all cali strains which is telling me they are using something very similar to each other , if anyone can send me in the right direction of the PGR’s that would be great
The right direction of PGR's is the one leading away from them. I have heard there are some natural ones but not needed. Good genetics, proper environment, light, feeding etc. will get you to your destination.

Any of those listed in the PDF, like Florel, are chemical based. I wouldn't touch any of those, most are for things not getting smoked or eaten.
I just hope people are smart enough to read before they spray.
Light, bit of seaweed extract at germination, bit of whatever foliar spray at stretch, a bit of bloom boost later seems like all the plants need for PGR.

I highly doubt any respectable dispensary growers in Cali are using chemical pgr's, they aren't needed, and now that weed is legal there and is actively being tested, they need to maintain quality and purity standards. A major issue right now in California is that a lot of weed there is testing over the limits for heavy metals. PGR's were notorious when the cartels were pumping weed into the black market-the massive grows in the Sierra Nevada's that are so rare nowadays used to be practically toxic superfund sites. Nasty, nasty weed. As for natural pgr's, the most common ones referred to are triacontanol and gibberellins, neither of which are magic, but if you have a grow that is otherwise well dialed in, triacontanol can push your grow a little further. Alfalfa is one of the greatest fertilizers known to man, alongside seaweed and fish emulsion/hydrolysate-that's all I use to grow my veggie gardens, though I do add in some fish bonemeal and langbeinite every 3 years or so.

Alfalfa, thats the one that slipped my mind. Big bag from a feed store or rabbit feed pellets work great.
Just a few low cost simple things like that at certain growth cycles produce the best returns.

Get off the forum mate your no help to anyone what so ever
Well damn dude, that went south fast. My initial reply was agreeing with a reply above mine, mentioning PGR. Sorry you couldn't take it that way. I can now add you to the list of possible sensitive people that can't take anything without it being said all nice and shit. have a blessed day!

Ok guys thanks to everyone who tried doesn’t seem that anyone can give a defo it’s answer , it’s definetly not growing technique as some of the uk weed is really really good but just not quite as good as the stuff coming in the massive pound packs from Cali , so thanks again to everyone I appreciate your input

you have to also take into account that after strain is chosen then comes the phenotype hunt that gives you the look/taste/smell that you are gunning for.

Most people that are producing the “Cali” style growing that you’re on about are actively selecting phenotypes for their production or characteristics.

depending on strain chosen it could take +100 seeds to find that one golden egg that’s a keeper.

do you have the ability to do this and keep heathy mothers until the cull begins of the none keeper phenotypes?

Or are you popping seeds every grow and expecting them to perform regardless?

Simply put that within one given strain there can be multiple different phenotypes expressed from within the lineage of the breeding.

depending upon how the breeding has been done could limit those pheno variations to maybe a handful but that’s during successful back crossing to stabilise the strain.

most seed companies these days are in it for a quick quid.

breed quickly, don’t back cross to stabilise and then charge £10 plus for a seed.

Curious - What do you consider "Cali" traits?

HERE'S THE SECRET:
there's no secret.

Follow directions - do what they did, you'll get what they got.
It's all here.
California weed is a thought - not a product. YOU can grow as good, if not better than what you're picturing if you can follow direction.

Jump start if you just NEED to spend money (not advertising, these are the seeds I'm running atm):

edit --- what do you consider "California" growing conditions?
re: Some of the BEST dispo weed in LA comes from the San Fernando Valley & Lancaster - a polluted city and a desert city known more for meth than weed.
- puzzle THAT out. (hint- indoor) :bigjoint:
NorCal's primary asset (back in the day) was that it's PRIVATE, and has decent growing conditions. Legalization negates MOST of the need for privacy.
