Gross yeah I think I remember those from the flea market aluminum grinders are so cheap now I figured they stopped making those

My sharpstone grinds it so fine, in a joint it is too fine. Good for pipes and bowls but not right for rolling fattys. What I am going to do for my next big Doink is:
An inner inside rolled with hippy picked chunks of ganja, and an outside layer of fine grind. This will have a slow burning inner layer, and a good burning outer layer, like a good cigar.

Yeah some grind it super fine that's partly why I have like 5 grinders haha some are good for bowls some blunts some joints. Hopefully someone makes a grinder that can switch how it grinds like the salt&pepper grinders haha

I think the sharpstone should be called a ‘shredder’ or something, I think what I want would be called a ‘buster’. So that it busts it up into nice little chunks.

Up the heat. Propane torch or a hot oven. I’m assuming that at this point you have nothing to lose.
Also if you have a strap wrench or two, those are better tools for the job than a Vise-Grip.
Stay safe - only handle the hot unit while wearing good work gloves.

I don’t have one of their grinders, but everything I’ve seen made by GRAV has been really nice. Even their cheap little glass tasters are nice looking.

Nice, I don’t see a lot of there stuff around here, I see a 2.0 is out now with a bit different cut. It also has a nice micron screen different then the avg, the screen is removable (magnetic).. I dropped my open sharp stone and dented the threads, been using this for couple years now.

Baby oil will work better at thinning out the 'sticky' part(s) and last longer then ISO which dissolves very quickly. I use baby oil on my scissors when trimming and find its much faster then ISO and easier on the hands/skin...not all dried out.
Can get a big bottle from dollar stores cheap and soak your grinder for a day or so...then put it in a hot dish washer and its just like new...unless there is a mechanical problem as well.

My friend put his santacrüz shredder in ISO and soaked it over night, in the morning the green color was gone and it was just plain metal underneath, and it is still gunked up. I think boiling in olive oil would work very good.

i bought my titanium coated Space Case like 10 years ago and have not had a single one of these issues. i dont ever need to scrape the teeth, soak it, etc. I also have a graveyard of broken or damaged cheap grinders from the years before that, that i never got around to throwing away. My cheap old sharpstone would get stuck every now and then, id just punch it with a hammer-fist and slam the threads back into alignment. Sometimes you just gotta think like a neanderthal and punch stuff. Looks like they have a lifetime warranty, have you contacted them?
