Ive never used a calmag product. Consider switching to different methods. You couod maybe add cal and mag individually, or bone meal molasses etc..also whats wrong with the n. If its too much drop some from your normal feed. Or just foliar feed tap water at night

The problem is when I drop from the feed I get cal/mag deficiency and when I raise I get n toxicity?

what you want is Dolomite Lime. A high quality dolomite lime is usually made up of Calcium and Magnesium. Also it works as a bonus to keep your soil Ph at stable 6.5 for each cubic foot of soil i add about 1.5 tbsp of Dolomite. you can top dress the dolomite into the top couple inches of soil and water it in. it will continue to slowly dissolve with each water. I currently have the General Organics CaMg which has 0 NPK and use it for a suppliment.

my hypothesis as to why they have N in most cal mg products is because the N is a component of chlorophyll, and Mg is the element responsible for formation of chlorophyll. SO it makes sense to have them together in a way... but i agree I do not like the CaMg products with N in the bottle.
