Cal/Mag. deficient or lock out?

White Widow outdoor, at 3mos veg. started showing leaves as attached. Best I can find so far is Calcium or magnesium deficiency or lock out. Yet treating with extra Cal. and Mag. and then flushing a few days later has not helped. Old fan leaves go first, now it's taking higher up fan leaves. Help6-22 disease.JPG

Has it been wet rainy and humid?
None of the above, I'm socal 7mi from ocean, very cool spring and early summer here. I cannot seem to budge my soil out of a 7ph. Even setting feed water at 5.3 to 6ph has not dropped soil ph (1/2 ocean forest 1/2 Bu's blend, two bags each with one bag compost and one bag volcanic pumice) Nutes given at 1/4 strength most waterings or none)

Hey mate :D

As you have discovered, ph'ing your water doesn't do jack to your soil.

Are you in a pot of soil?
Or in Earth?

What did you amend with?
Calcium should be plenty available at ph7.
Need to know how much is in your soil already.

A picture of your whole plant will really, really help too.

Phosphorus deficiency .
Thanks hotrod, any suggestions on how to fix it? Plant has slowed it's symptoms, fewer leaves are turning as the pic. since the flush. It's ready for water today according to the meter and I need to decide what to do about it. Thanks again. I'll post a great brownie recipe for you separately.

Phosphorus is the main element mycchorizae are responsible for transport into the plant. But that's not quick. Suggest pH adjusted feeding with little nitrogen.

Are you in a pot of soil? large pots as you can see from pic in Ocean Forest/ Bu's Blend 50/50 with added pumice for better transpiration, compost and mycorrhizae topped with "Grow Stone" and diatomaceous earth top dressings to occlude fungus gnats (last year they ruined crop)
Or in Earth?

What did you amend with? Fox Farm "Grow Big" (will switch to FF "Big Bloom" soon) at 1/2 strength each watering and "Organic Plus" fish and kelp with reduced sugar molasses (2-2-2) 1 tblsp each watering is 1/2 strength) I balance PH feed water after adding supplements with distilled white vinegar. Will switch from "Big Bloom" to "Cha Ching" second week of August or so as flowers develop and rippen. I harvest late for high cbd content (50% amber trichomes)
Calcium should be plenty available at ph7. Good because I can't budge the soil PH, it is stuck at 7
Need to know how much is in your soil already. Whatever was in the products listed.

Here are some pics of the effected plant

Thanks, I added mycorrhizae at final transplant 50% down under roots for it to grow into. I adjust feed water with white vinegar to between 5 and 6 in an effort to drop soil ph from 7 to no avail. I'm just doing PH adjusted water for now until I can figure this out. I gave a full dose of the "maxi cal" (a cal/mag supplement with 10-0-0- and trace minerals) waited two days then flushed it with plain PH'd water. Now after a week the problem is still spreading. see pics above....

I strongly recommend against the use of vinegar to control pH.

Here's my LST showing two white widow plants trained into a spiral. (un-topped) This always works great for me, I think I'll do them all this way next grow. This plant is amazing. So Dense! Yet I'm concerned with pruning out interior leaves right now as the plant is the healthiest of the grow at least until it get's into flower. I already took clones from this beauty which are just started. I can forward pics of the clones if interested. Would you remove interior leaves and shaded branches?? If so, when?... Thanks in advance. With the fungus gnats under control and no diseases (other than one plant described above) I'm really looking forward to a great harvest in Sept. IMG_1922[1].JPG

Vinegar is also used as a organic herbicide for starters.

Wet
Thanks Wet, I'll go get some more PH down today. Yet I see so many are using it according to the forums I've visited. If it killed the plants it must be used full strength.
