Cal def?

Hi guys,

I'm asking some 'little' help as it's happening again with my third grow.

Here is the picture of my second grow, its a strain from my country and did not pay really attention on that moment because was really busy
New grower here so bear with me and I'm under led.

And here are some pix of my chemdog, she's into week 2 flowering stage and feeding her with home made nuts.
I'm noticing the same thing, rusty spots on some leaves, next step is discoloration on top of the leaves, burning and RIP again :(

I've been told it was ca def but want to be sure.
I have Bio Nova ca and mg so do you think I should add it to every feeding? What strength?
The plant is in a 7l pot and pouring 700ml of water/solution.

10x in advance for the help - 911

The tendency is to think that deficiency, as it is called, is simply a lack of something and adding more will fix it. The reality is that overdoses lock out other elements and require a different approach than what is intuitive. PH is a large cause of deficiencies not because there isnt enough but the plant cannot utilize it. There may be bugs present as well. The first thing to do is flush believe it or not at 5.8 with 1/4 strength nutrients, let the medium adjust for a few days and see if things are looking better. Now if the soil is drying slow find a skewer and gently poke holes to aerate the roots. Try foliar feeding in the dark with cal mag at 1/3 the posted rate, every feeding increase the ppms by 250-300 and try using a fertilizer that is clear in the nutrients proportion to each other. Patience, just observe the progress and take the approach that it demands. Check well for pests, and keep tabs on the environmental factors. Ask me if you need more help, good luck.
