Cabinet door design

So, I have built a small closet, that will be my 24/7 light zone.

Dimensions are 1.5ft x 4ft x 8ft tall.

So I have to build a door that is 4x8, that can open with only a distance of two feet...

I was thinking accordian style doors. But I have to build them with 1/4 plywood.. How would I make them light proof? Any other designs that might work?

Get collapsible closet doors and staple a black fabric to the joints in between the doors and you'll be fine

i use the same stuff for cabs, basically you need to do a solid frame for the door to close on and support the door sheet itself with a frame, if you got basic carpenting skills it will be light proof and the hinges will then have solid support, i used the cheap mini hinges, used 4 on each door. you can also forget about light proofing the frame just add a black curtain from the outside

ever hear of a pocket door?

How would that work for this application? He'd have to go with a 1'10" door (not standard), and lean like a mofo to reach the other side of the closet. A double hinged door with light blocking astragal would be ideal.
