Cab Grow 2.1 CFL+LED+HPS+DWC & SCROG

Day 1

Ok since my last grow was an epic fail I decided there were things I did like so here is a tour of the updated cabnet.

2 x 25w 5600k CCFL
1x true daylight 35w can't remember the K CCFL
1 12" X 12" 13W LED Plant spec light only.
150W SunSystems HPS

1 X 80mm output
1 x 100mm output
1x 120mm output (outside of cabw DYI Carbon Filter)
1 x 120mm Input

Medium
DWC 3 Gal Rubbermaid
2 x Aqurium pump
2 bubble stones

1 x auto pounder (I bought 6 of these, 4 have failed)
1 x WWxOGKush (Freebie)

I plan on scroggin this grow.


The Mylar was cheap but a serious pain in the ass to work with so bought 3 of those car windshield refelctors cut them up and was able to hide atleast the fan wires behind it. I also added another 100mm fan for output and finished my intake fan.
made a spot for my stuff to hang on the inside of the door. Right now I am soaking all my grow rocks in bleach. Oh and I added to new bubble stones the blue is for medium and grey is for fine bubbles.

Now as for the beans they are both Auto Pounders. the one in the small cup is the one I dropped 4 days ago (paper towle method) and nothing so figured I would try the drop in water on it see if anything happens. The one in the big cup is fresh so I have my fingers crossed it will crack and take off. With my Door closed and Lights going (LED&CFL) 79'. I won't worry abou the HPS untill I acutally need it. I am going to feed my House A/C into the cab soon I allready have duct ran for it.

Day 2
Auto pounder bean did crack and a nice little white tail came out, planted in rock wool now and in germ container with lid so hopefully this one wil go!
yes thats a hot cakes container I do luv me sum pancakes!

I look foward seeing your grow sir , btw how hot did ur grow get running a 150w hps?

last grow was HOT as hell, thats why I added the 2 new fans, and fixing to run A/C into the cab.

The bean did crack but so far has not done much....

One thing I did learn this week was https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/361430-dwc-root-slime-cure-aka-19.html This is an Epic Thread on brown slime and how to make a "TEA" to cure it. I do belive I got it because when I ordered my veg nutes I forgot to specify hydro so I was using the wrong stuff. This is really starting to piss me off as I am not really a patient person so this is killing me having to wait days upon days to see if anything will sprout and grow. On my first grow EVERYTHING at the start was smooth as glass, not so much this go round. Any of you people that have order seeds let me know if you have had these same issues with bad seeds, what your sucess rate germing them has been.

I am no expert but here where I was 7 days in on my 1st grow with Bagseed. Doing a lot of things wrong like clear res no PH checking or PPM. I germed 9 seeds and got 6 plants.

What could be my problem????

Right now just the CCFLs I read last night that auto don't like the Red Spec while in veg. So I turned off the LED panel, at around day 20 I will turn on the HPS.

Day 9

Day 10:
Things are going sup0er slow, I think I may have the Brown smile back. There is a brown film forming on the Res sides again. I guess I'll be brewing some of that tea that commanderStrax pointed out.



So I just ordered stuuf to make the "TEA", can anyone give advice on how to limp this seedling along for 7 -9 more days untill the stuff for the tea comes in?

I use that every three or four days

how much should I add to a 3 gal res?

It depends on the strenth of the peroxide, I have 30% and I add it at 3ml a gallon. so 3 % from the pharmacy you could go 30ml per gallon.

I also run Hygrozyme... a lot of people don't like the zymes

ok mines 3% so I'll hit it with 30 ml. Do you think from the images of the RES that it's that brown slime crap?
