wuts up. 3rd real grow. i got some og 18 singles while they were in stock and some reserva privada headband.

setup:
1 600w hps and 150 t5's. I want to take out the 600 and put 2 400s in. Inline maybe ( i have temp issues)
temp 86* with the cab door open.
cab: 2'(wide),6'(long),4'(tall,excluding the 2x4's there sitting on)
1 OG#18 and 2 reserva privada headbands
3 gal buckets (holes drilled about 4" above bottom since these net pots are too tall)
hand water every 2 days with:
5ml gh micro and 8-10 ml of gh flora. (lucas veg)
8ml hygrozyme
I also use other advanced enhancers like voodoo juice and sensizyme
My 1 hb(headband) has brown roots and slime. I used h202 on them(3% 30ml per gallon) and the OG exploded in roots.
About 2 weeks ago I put the screen up, but was LSt'ing since early veg.

They are now permanently taped closed with an air stone and I hand water the hydroton until water leeks out of the hole(4" from the bottom). I have no idea how my poor hb is doing with the root slime. It seems to be the most vigorous out of all of them though.

from left to right is HB 1, HB2, OG18
The og is wilted because I didnt water because I was away. (i just watered)
Any advice on how to auto water. Im thinking about a reservoir and drip. with a water pump inside a bucket in the cab.

Temp is 86*. with the cab door open! I need to get a portable ac. but i wanted the cab to be sealed for co2. Any ideas? The problem is there is only 2 holes cut , and I dont want to make anymore since the noise factor. It can be sealed shut with a lock but gets over 100*.
Thanks for looking. please post.

yes it smells extremely good. do you know which pheno you have. the more indica one or sativa? I believe mines more of an indica. but the leaves aren't real real fat like a normal indica.

well I have grown og#18 for awhile now started with 24 seeds and grew many clones, I got 3 phenotypes, it is very sensitive to PH and also nutrients, one phenotype foxtailed in my enviroment, very sticky, stinky, skunky, earthy, almost like a natural menthol.....the buds are very big also even the lower buds swell up a lot, however the yield remains typical... the potency hits u hard in the head fast and heavy but goes away quick (regardless of when you harvest it, 10ish weeks seems like good enough, I did trials from 9 to 13 weeks), it is lower potency probably around 15%, I am not going to be growing this strain anymore its way too sensitive for me and lacks potency - also it just stinks way to bad, some people also really dislike its distinct flavor.

Very odd strain to grow, A different kind of plant for sure, some people do enjoy to grow this but I would say it is for advanced growers only.

btw I think your scrog is a really good application for this strain, the side buds love to come up to the top even without a screen or training and grow as if they are tops, this strain also responds well to LST and Topping.

thats for that headband link. Ive read that all the way thru previously. and learned theres 2 pheno's of HB. 1 more sativa and 1 indica... I think i have the indica.

So I need some help on my temperature problem. The hydro shop guy is trying to convince me to get a 4 foot 6 bulb t5 350watter for $200. He said any hps would cause to much heat.

I would prefer putting (2) 250watters inline and having them hook up to the carbon filter. with a 435 cfm fan. Than I would use the other hole(haha) for a portable a/c intake that would turn on/off based on a temperature control plug thing. Any body know how long the on cycles of a portable a/c would be. maybe around 10,000 btu portable ac..

Thanks to anyone with enough experience to help me.

Most portable ac units don't have duct connections except for exhaust. If possible, i would suggest fitting in a small unit, 8000btu would be sufficient with your space volume, and vent it out through light exhaust. Doing this creates negative pressure in the space, so you'd need to vent ac through carbon. Unit should run constant but cool to temp set. Hope this helps.
