and the bitchy sativa pheno
no smell yet...i'm seeing resing glands starting all over on this one....

stem rubs bring a soft sour grapefruit mmmm very nice... i hope the fowers smell like this but nothing at all yet tho they are very immature still.....

this ones so darn finiky, i was just gonna cull it and let the other grow out the whole tent but i figured maybe be she'll pull thru

I been pushing um hard last 2 days, both with the nutes and light
powering these last 2 days at about 45w per sq foot
350w in an a 4'x2'

they been light stressing a little bit i think , but i saw immediate fattenening of the buds and a growth spurt cranking the lights up like that

, im gonna bring power down to the suggested levels of 30w sqf' and monitor.....i think i could keep up with the plants demand if i was in DWC, im in coco and only get to water once a day right now

Flux meter showing 60,000 lux (actually 66,000 meter off by 10%maybe)

and convert that to ppfd is coming out to 982 PPFD unless im off, probably but shud be close
thats corner to corner, i can sway the meter along the tops and see stays right about 60,000 lux all the way across the canopy....no highs in the centers and low #s of the outer edge, saweett

Btw, re:defol

Enter defoliation in search box at growweedeasy.com, good tutorial...

If you get a hankering for manifolds/mainlines, enter mainlining in search box there, too. Nugbuckets is the guy who made it famous here. With right strains (most of his pics are with ace of spades) you can get some pretty colas. I use it for building a big, even plumbing system, and train the tops the way the individual plant responds, not necessarily like his.

Sweet, ok im gonna manifold it like that next run, all in dwc...im liking the grows you guys are doin -defol and clean branches- i know im gonna hurt the yeild leaving all these leaves on...its ok, i just hope i make it all the way thru lol

I think im on day 26..or 27 gotta look, you thinks its too late for some defol, on only planning this go 8 weeks, maybe 9..as most grows on this strain have been ready at 60days, im planning an extra week maybes


Heres the 2 plants early mainline, blimburn culled, i started 4 main branches- broke one on the the pineapples (right) top branches clean off , it was a little muscle armed plant, i had to use wire lol....thats why my canopy is low on one side

anyways i didnt continue with it and shud have lol..............next time !

the bubble cloner, 2nd round 100% success so far, just fill to tips and its good for 7-8 days change water
these are about ready to go in some waterfarms





first round of clones....
once they go in the big bucket, they just rocket. thats 2 little clones 2 wks, i gotta get in there and defol (go be mothers)
im using flora nova nutes, seem to work better in dwc than coco

Sounds like 4 weeks in.

I usually do a major defol about a week or so before 12:12, and then after 3rd week of stretch (if i can control myself that long). So you aren’t too late.

Basic idea of 3rd week defol is to pull the leaves during early pistil development to get as much light on budsites as possible. Also helps open canopy when plants are ramping up metabolism and transpiring a lot of water (high powdery mildew risk).

This time with co2 and great lights, i have so much foliage, i had to start early and do a little every day/other day.

My basic approach is to only remove fan leaves at nodes where the axil bud is growing out, except for 2-3 node pairs at tips of mains/laterals. The farther you get into flowering the less fan leaves grow out, so at some point there’re no more to pull.

If you follow my approach, at this point in your grow, take off of the appropriate fans on the bottom 1/3-1/2 of your plant in one sitting. Then every other day remove one or two fan leaves from each main moving upward, always leaving 2-3 pairs (by this time each pair will not be adjacent to each other) of fan leaves on every tip. This is an aggressive approach, so do what you are comfortable with.

will defoliate today as much as i can, clear up the inside
plants grew up abit, lights about 12" running at 250w, flux meter at ~50,000 (sounds like fkn star trek or somethin)

trying to keep my temps up....lights run very cool
76F lights on gotta run ac to keep humdity down
humidity 51%

thats just pineapple pheno, the lanky stubborn sativa next to it is thin and wide open, zero maintenance lol...just deficient like motha lol

Anyone can help me out?
Checking ppm on runoff at watering today
Coco dtw
#1 1140ppm in——-1010ppm runoff

#2 740ppm in——-530ppm runoff


So does this mean i need to up ntues tomorrow because run off is lower? Using the difference?

Yesterday similar thing
#1 950ppm in—650ppm out

#2 630ppm in—-530ppm out

So of course I bumped um up today, and the above shows....does this indicate they’re still wanting more nutes, and if runoff comes out like going in it’s about right?

Put your meter at different levels in the canopy. Veg needs 300 ppfd minmum, flower needs 600. Removing the appropriate fans will get more light in there.

thx, yeah, i did some defol can you tell

i didnt touch the tops, from right below them all the way to the screen i took the light blockers

Didnt want to push it in one sitting, ..and will continue lightly over the next week....thx for all your advice og

Yep, saw some cut stems in there. Keep at it as laterals push out of the nodes. You will be rewarded.

rh at 60% will do you fine at this stage, just keep some good airflow and all will be fine.
If your going to defoliate now just try not touch the buds or the pistils will go brown very early.
