T5 wicked for early veg not much penetration after that tho i found a 125 cfl grew em better than a 4 tube t5 as i say wicked for early veg but trying to get a bush under em hard work man looking good tho
PEACE
Oh don't worry, she'll get plenty of light penetration in flower. 2x 8 bulb 2ft'ers mounted vertically on each side of my 2X4X6 tent and 1x 8 bulb directly above provide good light for what I'm doing. About 480-500 watt worth.

Well only 2 more weeks left in veg so I figured it's time to cut some clones. One from this currant plant and one from another seed I popped in the beginning just In case something went awry. Giving me a chance to try them both out and see which ones the keeper. Snipped 2 tops, trimmed em up, dipped in clonex and popped in rockwool.

It's day 72 from seed and it's finally transplant day!!! Vegged for longer then I wanted but she's ready to go into a 6.6gal autopot and start the 12/12. Really should have been 2 weeks ago but the holidays made sure that never happened. She had really over grown my little 2x3 veg area but will have plenty of room in the tent.

Great job..they are looking good. Any fruity smell yet? 12 days for flower was close to my c99 1st flowers.. Like the scrog..
So far nothing fruity. It has been very cold and gloomy the past 2 weeks so I haven't been able to really give her a ton of light. My flowering tent is run off of solar power so I haven't been able to give her all the light she wants.
Light schedule/wattage:
1st light comes on at 5:45am (100w)
2nd fixture comes on at 10:30am (200w)
1st light turns off at 11:30am
3rd fixture tires on at 1:30pm (200w)
2nd light turns off at 2:50pm
3rd light turns off at 5:45pm
She's only gets about 400w for about 1hr 20mins a day then falls back down to 200watts.

I use 7-1 light adapters with 15w LEDs (105w) per fixture. I took the globes off the LED..gave almost double in light.. With 2 c99..i had a total of about 250w..did ok but cold was hard to battle..lots are doing bathroom vanity lighting strips with Leds..i use 2700k..3000k..5000k LEDs..full spectrum.. Looks like u are rockin it though so lookin forward to your show.. How u storing power? Batteries? Or on demand solar?

I have a 600ah battery bank. I mostly rely on having my lights on during day light hours though so I can use the solar panels and not stored power.

What's the size of tent? Your t5..how much coverage they provide? Are they inches from top?
The tent is 2x4x6 and the t5's give complete coverage even under the canopy due to the positioning. At first switch to flower I had them about 6-8in away but now they are about 4-5in from the tops.

Is there an advantage to side lights/vertical when u run a scrog? I thought all lights should be focused on canopy after scrog training.

I don't think it really changed much of anything but the biggest advantage I have seen is my temps are down. I use to have 2x 2ft 8bulb t5's over head and temps stayed about 5-10° hotter. Air just circulates easier like this and It stays a bit cooler even with 3x 8bulb t5's.

How did the clones turn out?

Well they didn't . It's my fault though, I was just being lazy. I was away for a few days that dropped down to the low 30's° and they never bounced back. I should have set up a heating pad for them but oh well shit happens. You live, you learn. Instead I'm going to pop some tangerine dream seeds for the next run.

Outside it's been ranging from 30-65°F but in the tent it drops to about 55° over night (not for very long though) and as high as 75-80° during the day.
