Buying tinctures and oils

Does anyone else find the prices dispensaries are charging for these is too high or reasonable? CO2 oil seems way too pricy, some tinctures are alright i guess

Just started my 1st Tincture last night. 151 proof Rum and some really nice LA Con. Decarb and all!

Shake daily and cool/dark for two weeks. -Source (Ed Rosenthal Beyond Buds pg 149)

if you buy herb at say 150 a gram/oz and buy IPA... works out to about 33 dollars a gram most times...

Sure you could do better...but not much. Far from Free there dude man!?!?!?
Now if you grow it yourself... that's another story. The only expensive part is the IPA

use vegetable glycerine (available at health food stores)

it works great for those of us who cannot consume alcohol for whatever reason (health condition, addiction, lifestyle choice etc...)

I just did this 2 days ago, but I accelerated the process with the magical butter. I end up with an almost identical green dragon (wish I could freeze it and make golden dragon). I tried one bit of it and it was disgusting, so I put the pan on top of the crockpot and evaporated all the alcohol. Now I have a glass pan coated in oil, so I tried a dab last night and it was perfectly functional and I haven't died yet.

150 proof - 76% alcohol. I evaporated the alcohol for days. I intend to mix the oil with pg/vg now.

As it gets thicker it needs heat or a vacuum to purge properly. A vac being the best.
