My plants got pretty burned from the nutes i added. ive been thinking on purchasing a ph meter but i've seen so many different kinds and they're all really expensive. What kind has worked best for you. by the way i use an aerogarden and only hve one plant growing

Nute burn and ph are seperete issues. Ph to high or too low should not cause nute burn, it would keep your plants from making use of the nutes, causing a deficiency, not a burn. The least expensive way to check your ph is to use the drops, $10-15. What is the source for your water? VV

Unfortunatly I don't have experience with the AeroGarden, there are several folks here that have used them and posted journals. Does the water thru you refrigerator get softened? If it does, that could be the problem? VV
