Buying new seeds.

So i am about to order some new seeds. The first and only time i ever ordered seeds i got them from http://www.mjseedscanada.com/
Got purple haze and ak47.. needless to say but, lol @ them for they shipped my order twice. Got 60 feminized seeds for 180$ which was dope.. Its just im not happy with the quality of the strains.. there is no real smell to the plants, they just smell like any ordinary plant, very green smelling even throughout flowering. The taste just isn't there compared to the dispensary buds in which i have become accustomed to smoking...But hey! it burns clean and it does the trick..

So i really want some dank smelling buds this time around. been shopping around Canadian sites I want to keep it local and i came across BC bud depot's Fire OG kush by Reeferman... has anyone grown out this strain? I am just wondering if this is the same quality strain as the raskal fire og kush. I dont want another batch of phony seeds like my ak47 and purple haze, but i wont mind another double shipment

Look at Herbies seed bank. They have many seed banks to choose from. Great Site and Good discreet shipping. I gave my good friend a Grand Daddy Purp strain for his 21st Bday, about 3 months ago, so for sure they are reliable, GDP was pricey, but they have cheap seeds as well as high grade and Medicinal. Have you thought about having a couple of Mother Plants to take cuttings from, instead of buying bulk seeds. Because even though it sounds good, how many are truly female and how many will truly sprout and not Hermie on you. Idk because I've never bought seeds in bulk like you have, but I've had a mother plant last me a year and a half, shedding clones like crazy. Its a good way to keep a strain you love alive. Idk your setup, but I'm guessing a mother plant system would be too slow for you?

I'm sure you know this, but did you flush your last week of flowering to help with aroma and taste?

Yes i have actually set up 3 spaces recently 1 small clone box, a 2x2 veg area and a 5x5 flowering area. I am ready to start taking clones but having so many seeds of strains i dont really like.. i just been popin them like a mad man.
I had a few questions on keeping a mother in possibly a 3 gal, cause my small 2x2 veg area.. id like to at least have 3 plants in veg along with the mum..it will be tight as fuck.

I flower in 3 gals

is herbies local to canada?
I just want a 100% chance ill get my seeds with no fuckery .
i cant handle losing my seeds crossing the boarder.

Ha, yeah seeds can drive you nuts. Damn I wish I had that much space. Cloning is your best option. Find the best seeds in your bulk. You know them by name? For mothers, make sure to get Mother Plant Nutrients. Regular Nutes work, but I highly recommend Mother plant Nutes, I would get faster growth with mother plant nutes opposed to regular base nutes, and yes I have done side by sides. With small areas, its hard to keep a mother, especially more than one. Can you keep it in your flower room for 12 then when lights go off take one outside or tighten them in veg. You have a lot of options, but 2x2 doesn't really help. Haha. Do you have a plant in veg right now?

With Herbie's I have heard a lot of good things. Plus personal experience. I live in the U.S.A and it got to me in like 2 weeks. Less I think.

i have four 3 gal smart pots in veg right now. its all that fits in the 2x2..
would there be anything that would be wrong with just taking clones from cloned plants over and over, instead of having a mother?

Herbies seeds will send out multiple orders to ensure you recieve your package incase it does get somehow magically picked out by customs, never happens to me and im in the united states.

This weakens the genetics of the plant, you will end up with smaller plants as time goes on. I like to pop seeds, totally worth the 10-15 bones spent.

Well you could. Mother plants are good to be certain its a female, instead of popping in seed, then taking clones from plant before pre flower, how will you know its a male for sure. Well you could know 100% if its from female mother plant you took a clone from. Clones take like 3 weeks to develop good roots, so for easier more fluent and speedy process, go with a mother plant. Veg for like 2-3 weeks, then flower. Don't top. If I was you that's what I would do. To get things moving fast. You have a lot of flower room.

If its a good strain and you feed it great nutes, there should be no problem with potency. I like to have different sweeteners to add variety to that same strain clone. Its still potent I promise.

My last clone process was last Dec. I miss it. I don't have the room, you're in a good spot so you're going to be good either way with seeds or clones.
