Anyone know where to get a good deal on HPS lamps ? HTG seems very reliable and reasonably priced. but they are still $300.00 + U.S after shipping and all for a MH/HPS 600 watt lamp on ebay.

Anyone know where there is a very reliable site to order 600 or 400 HPS lamps? (I'm talking entire system here: reflector, ballast, bulb etc...)

what kind of reliability would you give them ? a little weird that 600w and 1000w systems are the same price ....

Yes the 430w will work in 400w but the ballast only gives it 400 watts so no brighter then a 400 watt bulb.

The 400 watt bulbs will work in the 430 ballast also.
The 430 watt bulbs will work in the 400 ballast also.

You can get a 400w mh conversion bulb that works in a hps ballast also. (they don't make a 430 mh conv bulb)

I've been shopping for 400w digital ballasts and bulbs, I've looked everywhere I can think of and HTG's ebay listings had the cheapest.

$228.90 after shipping for a 400w digital ballast, cord set, bulb and reflector.
It's actually cheaper than getting it all without a reflector from most other places.

Wow, every time I see how much they cost new I am very glad I found mine by luck at a yard sale. To boot it was $10 and a couple mounts into my first grow.

I just stopped because the dude was hauling stuff from the sale to the curb.

Well that site looks pretty fishy (hydroponics.net). ALL of their 600w and 1000w set-ups are the same. And I asked a country not location. Trust me feds can easily pinpoint your country by your i.p. haha. But anyway for anyone else with any sites please give me sites that ship to the U.S.
