Buying from seedbanks?

Hey Rollers.

I'm interested in geting my first lot of certified genetics to "preserve".

How do you go about obtaining them. Payment wise... Besides the obvious first born, two goats. And your second wife's left nipple.

I've heard some use crypto currency like bitcoins and the like. But, I don't know squat about that stuff. Or do you take the risk and slap down your plastic to buy those bitches?

I'm mainly looking for advice on business with Bonza. As they've got quite a few seeds I'm interested in adding to the collection.

Cheers peeps.

Also. Sorry if this question has been posted before.

theres no certification for seeds. we call it trust, trust in the breeder and trust in the reseller.
buy a high times magazine, look at the full page ads for seeds. pick one. go to their website and use your own credit card with your own name and address. The seeds will arrive in 1-3 weeks, they always do. dont talk to the seller about the seeds or their purpose.
be smart, buy proven genetics, like cup winners for instance, they always win.

Okay. Well, I'm looking for some (hopefully) correctly labeled/marketed genetics from Bonza.

I'm more asking how people go about purchasing from these places. Do you lot just give your card number. Or go crypto currency. Or some other method I'm unaware of?

I only use usa sites as im in us and dont want to risk customs. Most of banks here no longer accept cc (when they did I just used my card) so I use the bank I trust Oregon Elite Seeds or I order right from breeder and send a money order.

I don't understand the whole bitcoin thing for seeds. Cash works just as well, comes with no purchase costs, and you don't have all the hassles of dealing in a monitored currency.

Just send the cash in a usps express mail envelope (don't ask for a sig). They will give you a tracking number so you know when the seller gets the bucks.

Do it in small increments. Don't buy $1200 worth of seeds in one buy (who needs $1200 in seeds... lol).

Either you trust the seller and are willing to lose your money through mail error, or you can try to find a breeder who can take cc. But bitcoins offer nothing more than a couple of days advantage. You can't get the money back either way once sent.

bit coins seem like the shadiest fucking thing in the world to me. i'd rather do a complicated bank transfer than "touch" a bitcoin. i was having trouble using my card to order seeds from GB, i called my bank and they fixed it, had to wait about 15 minutes and then no problems

the thing is, unless you already have their attention, they could give a shit about you, authorities in america aren't going to subpoena a british seed banks records....i'm pretty sure customs authorities are busy as hell and don't have time to devote to specifically trying to find seeds. when they just chance upon them, they send you a letter telling you "naughty, stop it" then go back to frantically opening packages big enough to have cash in them.
sooo...i really am not concerned about a few seed banks having my credit card info, i use a debit card for online purchases and never have more than a couple of hundred dollars in it, so the worst i can do is lose 200 bucks and get a different card for online purchases

Cash is also considered as international money orders! You can get those at any Western Union.

The big Bitcoin people are Attitude.....You see what happened there is that the US gov. went to the card companies and asked them to not honor charges to them for them breaking federal laws on MJ seed sending to the US. Mastercard complied and Visa began adding on charges to them for the transactions. For awhile you could get Like Visa "net spend" cards that accepted international orders. The "TUDE" would take those for awhile..

It all got to be too much of a pain for them and it was far easier to simply not accept cards then to accept them......

So don't send actual *cash*.....Use an international money order

You have a lot of research to do. Use the search button. goto seedbank reviews section of the forum.

I would google "(seeds here now") and go on that seedbank. (thedankteam), (oregone eliteseeds) just to name a few seedbanks.

I placed an order with the ole tude (choice)last week and paid with a cc, not sure what you all in a hussy for. some brokers got their shit together and others dont. some get hassled and fix the issue, some dont.

cc orders are absolutely guaranteed. you can cancel a payment even. I've never been jimmied using any broker or credit card for seeds, never cancelled a payment either. all were legitimate, repeatable purchases/results, excep tthat # 18 changed something over the years.....not sure whats up with that......Reserva Prada...get yer shit together soon.....or else

Okay. Shit. Don't jump down my throat. I was just asking about my options.

I've never made a purchase online before. Let alone one for something that is/can be considered illegal.

I'm also not going to order thousands let alone hundreds of seeds. There's probably 25 strains at most I'm looking at. And even then I'm only looking at getting about six seeds this time round.

narrow it down to a couple of strains that you would like to work with. Friend of mine uses Western Union, he say they work fine, but that's him. I got lucky in my seed gathering. Good luck to your in your search

Oh there's definitely some that are more appealing. Whether it be lower price. Or just one that's got traits I'm interested in. The others are just ones I wouldn't mind trying for the sake of it.

Cheers anyway. Looks like I'll have to see what they accept. Hopefully a money order works. As we've WU here.
