I bought a 45w , 6,500K , 3040 Lumes bulb at walmart and payed around $20
Buying CFL's, not online

I started to buy suplies for my grow back in Dec and I whent with CFLs and I bought all of mine from Wal-Mart because it was cheeper then any where elseI'll never spend another dime in the smiley faced beast's store's....

The money you save at Wal Mart just comes at the economies expense...
People get fired up about Illegals coming into America and taking jobs but nobody complains about all the American jobs Wal Mart has forced oversea's to accomodate those low prices...
That's part of the high cost of Wal Marts low prices..believe me I've worked in their distribution division for a decade and know to much inside dirt about their inner workings to continue spending my money there, even w/ an associate discount but that's just my $.02...
I find deals on cfls at rite aid, lowes, home depot, at lowes the other day they had on the clearence table 23w 6500k cfls for $2 each but I didn't buy any...kickin myself in the ass now

Canadian Farmer, Hey bro You don't gotta plead your case to me bruddah I'm just merely stating my opinion on Wal Marts practices...They do make it easy to want to spend our money there...

they do I try not to buy from there every time but can't help it *shrugs* the way I see it we are all famly and we buy our stuff at diffrent place but we are here for each other
I have my grow journal started still getting money together to buy some seeds so feel free to check it out

If anyone has a Dollar General around, I found some good deals there on CFLs.

I know that not everyone has a Costco nearby or is a member but they always have great deals on CFL's. You can usually get
the 65W Floodlight (6500K)for $20 and if you live in Northern CA most CFL's in Costco are 50% off from PG&E. That's a 65W CFL for $10, with a built in refrlctor, all you need to do is wire on a plug. The 42W CFL's were either 1 or 2 for $5 I can't remember which.
