buttered popcorn

If you were at my house I'd gladly make you all popcorn.

My favorite recipe:

Heat a little brown sugar in a pot, adding salt, cinnamon, butter, a spoon or two of maple syrup and the secret ingredient- about a cap and a half of vinegar.

Tasty caramel popcorn :3

The word amuses me. 'Popcorn'. I want to say it over and over... 'Popcorn'. ^^

Well that's definitely not caramel, lol but it sounds interesting. Perhaps it would pass for a heavily altered caramel. :p
 
Well yes, caramel with added butter, syrup and cinnamon to make it extra special.

I've just had an idea. The next time I make fudge or brittle I'm going to lots of popcorn in it. The latter at least should set fast enough to keep it crunchy.
 
Only an Anglecynn would just say 'brittle'. LMAO Americans don't even know what it is. Peanut brittle, or Praline, sure. LMAO

the word amuses me as well. it reminds me of fighting with my mom when i was a kid. she has a really horrible new england accent and when i was a kid my way of "rebelling" was pronouncing everything correctly.

she would say "pup con" and it would drive me nuts. ironically i grew up to have an accent almost as bad as hers :grin:
 
I love buttered popcorn.

I hope you all have air poppers. So fresh. So crisp. So light. So good. Then you smother it in butter. MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Now I'm thinkin I should make buttered popcorn with pot butter... shit already kind of tastes like popcorn.

Kraft makes a powdered cheese that comes in a small can. put your butter on first then lightly sprinkle some of this cheese over it. mmmmmmmmmm

I have so many popcorn toppings i have a jalapeno chedder one thats sooo good.

No way they sell that in Canada, i buy those mini popcorn shakers they sell, mmm all dressed is yummy

I once tried popcorn with kraft parm cheese, i finished the entire bag lol good stuff
 
Yo that mac and chees looks bomb..... why is it so big lol.

I bet it is the same powder they give you in the boxes of Mac & cheese. just another way to market it.
