Busted - time to cry :(

Gotta give the kid some credit due , even if there was a crime committed it is a bullshit crime .. I say the grow looked damn good for what it was .
I was lucky , my mother( may she rest in peace ) was kind enough to allow me to grow in the closet back in 89 . I was always home and in that closet smoking and dinking around with plants when I could be .. Sorry to hear of the raid , sucks ass but you have experience and the determination as shown to move on and do it right the next time .
Now my stepfather though , that fucker was not allowed in my bedroom as he liked to rip my plants and toss them into his burning piles ..

Dude seriously if I was your dad I would have thrown your ass out as soon as I found it you damn sure wouldn't have gotten the 30 day speech.
You knowingly put your parents entire lives in jeopardy .
If you say you had no choice yadda yadda I'm an addict I must have smoke no self control yadda yadda . then you should have grown it outdoors like most other kids do and put only yourself in danger

As a parent of a teenager I can empathize with your parents being upset, but I would at least have to admire your gardening skills. Instead of kicking you out, I think I would have instead put your gardening skills to other use and made you take care of the family vegetable garden this summer.

They are both retired so there is no risk of job loss.
Rude yes, inconsiderate yes, but I fail to see the "danger".
the "danger" of commiting a crime (whether we agree with the law or not), is still a danger. I don't agree with the laws anymore than anyone else does...but I do it in my own home, at my own risk, no one elses. Thats the crazy thing about laws, its the law. I don't know anything about UK law, but even in our lenient Canada I woulda got straight fucked up if I tried it in my old mans house. Don't get me wrong I feel for ya, and they look like it was gonna be some good stuff, and now you've had a good life lesson and can go forth and prosper! I look forward to seeing your HPS grow in the near future!

Surely the only danger in commiting a crime is in the effect the punishment for that crime has.
If the punishment for that crime changes nothing, has no effect, was it really a crime?
I digress in semantics, clearly I should have moved out first.
Just so sad that growing a plant that makes you relax when you smoke it causes all these issues.
The real enemy is ignorance.
If my parents actually knew about the dangers and effects of cannabis, I doubt me having a plant or two would be an issue.
They are still perfectly content for me to buy 40% alcohol and drink my liver away, and the really depressing thing is I think they would prefer me to do this, simply because its legal, regardless of the increase in health issues compared to smoking cannabis.
Now that's something to cry about
