To firebrand, since you live in a MMJ state, you couldn't have found a doctor to give you a recommendation for herb? and secondly , you might be able to have your grow charge dropped IF you can get a MMJ recommendation ASAP , quick as you can. I've read multiple cases in California where someone had possession charges for herb and looking at jail time, and before they were sent off, they found a doctor to give them a MMJ recommendation and that changed the courts stance on the original charge and they dropped the charge and case altogether because it made the court look like they were sentencing a person for something that a doctor recommended even though it was AFTER THE FACT.
But I would say IF this were to work, you need to get on it NOW, quick as possible. If you could just get that MMJ recommendation , then contact NORML , I'm sure if they couldn't help you themselves that they could direct you to someone who could. I'm telling you dude, if you can get a MMJ recommendation it would help you out, because you could get a lot of publicity on yourself then as a medical marijuana patient who's about to be sent off to serve time for growing and it would draw a lot of sympathy , and the right lawyer might would have the ammo necessary for your freedom. Not only that but you would get your house back, if you can't get a MMJ for any illness, I'd advise to pack up and move clean across the country to Maine, and try to get a MMJ card there...lol, the chances of Maine extraditing you back to Washington would be slim to none, damn serving time, I'd run and hide the rest of my life, even if it was only a 12 month sentence.
