I left for the weekend un-expectantly, and when I came home one of my plants had reached the light and burned the top flower, any advice as to what I should do?

I just had the same problem , went away for a few days during flowering and the plant had grown right into the light . Luckily its worked out good , the plant grew two new parts were it had been burnt and the burnt bit also recovered. My plant is now a bit of a freak as it has a three huge buds on the top of the main stem were once there was only one.

Happened to mine. I bent the stem and laid it over. In 2 hours the nodes and top turned up. The top has gotten so heavey I had to tie it up because it twisted the stem from the weight.
