Burned my plants with light?

My plants leaf was touching a cfl bulb for around 8 hrs is this problem from that?

Yes, its going to turn brown like cardboard and crack, no biggie just prevent it next time.

With cfls you need to watch them every day, make sure you leave enough height for growth anytime you leave the area or sleep ect..
