im using fourescents how many watts do i need

fluorescents are good for veg. probably at least 40 watts per plants

if you must do a fluoro grow, use compact fluorescents

i use as many as you can. i think the biggest you can buy at wal-mart or home depot is 42w or 45w bulbs. however, most hydro stores have 125w lights and ballasts systems

i dont want and cant afford a ballast i just what to use small compact bulbs but how many bulb and wat wattage will i need to bloom

youll need at least one per plant, but the yiels will be small and the buds really loose. the money youre gonna spend on plugs and bulbs and electricity consumption would proably be more than just buying one 250w hps

You will want to purchase as may CFLs as you can.. The 42 watt/150watt (2600-2700 lumens) bulbs at Home Depot and Wall MArt work great ($5-$10).

If you Flower your plant when it is 6-10 inches, with 4-6 nodes, and surround your plant with 2 - 8 bulbs, keeping the bulbs less than 1 inch from your foliage, you will have a wonderful yield..

probably 1-3 ounces depending on your strain.

NOW... this will only come true if you use proper watering technique..

i have one plant w/ one 45watt 2150 lumes fluorescents and that worked great for the flowering stage, but now it is at the stage of budding, what kind of light do i need to change to?

HPS is the bes t light to flower with. during flowering plants require red light for bud production. MH are high in blue which is necessary for veg

i heard of some guy, i think crickit, that went to ww.craigslist.com and got a 1000W hps for $200, but i think it varies from city to city as it is a local thing

OLD SCHOOL.. you can continue with the CFL's.. but you should add several more if you can.. and keep them very close to your foliage.. less than 1 inch...

LIKE SUBLIIME said, HPS bulbs are GREAT.. but they do come with other added headaches and may not be suitable for ALL first time growers..

id be ok with a couple 2 foot floros and a couple compact ones too rite...this is only my second grow. and the first one was pretty bad...i didnt even get a gram out of it....

CFLs rock da house.. when used properly...

5x45 watt CFL; Snake head lamps keeps the bulbs nice and close, 3 ladies

so use 5-45 watters and use desk lamps?...or could i use those silver shop clip light with the cone taken off and some bulb splitters like this?, well this upload shit is fuckin gay i had to resize the fuckin thing about 20 times then when it finally fit it was about 100 gb too big..., but i think you guys kno what i meant.
