anyone who's grown burmese kush know if this is normal leaf structure? I've got lots of under curl? the plant is growing in a 5 gal smart pot with a 50/50 mix of peat and perlite and ffof. but the seedling is planted in a core of pure peat and perlite in the middle. she showed this leaf curl from very start and have only just gotten the first feeding of FF grow big at 110ppm. light is a blackstar Chrome series led 3w chips and diodes. with cfl supplemental.

any thoughts?

that shape is normal. but how its kinda twisted a bit is not. check pH and possibly over-feeding something

next time, dont put it in a 5gal pot so early, they thrive in pots that are their size or slightly larger (compared to canopy width).

less transfers = less stress. also as stated i hadn't fed the lil plant at all till just now. appreciate the answer thou. have you ever actually grow buku? i'm curious where you get your opinion on pot size however it seems off... bigger pot, better roots, bigger healthier plant.

hi, ive got 2 buku on the go atm, my 2nd lot of these. and btw uve made the right choice choosing buku, its a beautiful smoke kinda fruity and real smooth and the stone will put any1 2 bed. that curling and twisting isnt normal, i wouldnt say its extreme but not normal, at a guess i would say its overfeeding, maybe if ur soil is rich then use just a plain water feed for a week or 2 and see what effect that has, ur plants being young the soil may be still providing enough nutrient, however on a better note i wouldnt worry 2 much. in my 1st hand experience this is the strongest and most resilient strain ive come across so there shouldnt be any lasting effects. and on the pot size, im with u i like 2 go from my tiny pots for cuttings to my 11litre pots but plenty of people use a middle sized pot aswell, each to their own isnt it. but obviously if these plants were growing outdoors their roots have no limits so 2 say ur pots are 2 big is rediculous. hope this helps and please keep us updated and i will follow this thread so any questions just post em n i will try n help

I love people who ask a question then shoot the messenger with a “ I got you, I know more then you” Attack.

Little plant in a 5 gallon pot is more stress than a transplant you just need
one more transplant is all you need
18oz cups Light Warrior or Sunshine Mix 4 for 1 week flo's or cfl's
1 gallon pot LW or SSM4 feeding 1/2 tsp Grow Big at this time use MH it'll be in these less than a week
5 gallon pot 100% FFOF Plain when transplanting and at least once more maybe twice
But you're running then lights and their not as strong my 400 watters
