Built me own dwc , any opinions ?

Looks pretty neat. Im going to build a similiar cabinet, for my living room. One that looks inconspicuous, on the outside.
As for the air pump, as a good way to test, .....hold your hand 2" over the water level. The little bubbles should be popping slightly on your hand, getting it wet if you were to leave it long enough.
I have a 30watt koi pond pump, pushing through two 12" air stones. I'd say its just BARLEY enough. Once the roots hit the water, I have a 60watt, Im going to set up.

i have it in my caravan in the backyard so it can look abit incrimanating no one will see it, im having trouble finding the rite type of glue for when i need to glue around the tubes in and around the res , the glue i got now takes 2 days to dry ! should i just buy some silicon?

I use the black stuff used for gaskets on motors, like around the thermostat and such. I think its called "Permatek" It takes 12 hrwarm and 24 hr cold to fully cure. this shit works great!

That's good silicone! However, I wouldn't even bother with it. That stuff can get messy and having chemicals like that anywhere near my rez would make me nervous. I just run my air lines straight through the plastic. They don't need to be sealed. If they absolutely need to be sealed use rubber grommets like Stealth Hydro instead of that silicone or glue. Chunks of that stuff can break off and end up in your nutrients too. Grommets or nothing.

Your right for the air tubes and things that are not submerged.As for the submerged Rubber grommets are good( in fact they are the best!.) My methods are solely the cheapest way I personally have found with shit I have laying around. I have never had any break off and once its cured its harmless to plants. I used it on my DIY cloner https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/302908-d-i-y-cloner.html , it is working great so far. I have spent less then 100$ on my whole 15 plant perpetual grow so far, just using old shit I had.

thanks for the advice just bought some apoxy i think its called , works like a charm 3 mins and its dry
I have to agree that after that silicone is cured it's good to go. I got to thinking last night and I used spray paint on my totes to lightproof them. Just as toxic until it dries.
