I've used a hlg pre-made light but want a qb 96 so I have to put it together ik basic electrical so I'm not worried. I do not know exactly what all I need though.Screenshot_20221103-175117_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20221103-194340_Chrome.jpg
The driver has a built in dimmer I believe but ik I want the ability to use the light at higher power in a bigger tent when upgraded so I went 150 watt. I only plan to run it around 100-130 though. I need wire connections made for harsh environments and a ac cable rated for power draw and that's it right? Is there a connection I need to go from other side of drive to light?

Do I need wires to connect the drive to engine or can I just wire the light right into the driver's wires?Screenshot_20221103-203840_Chrome.jpgimma go with this driver imma just order the wall plug with it rated for it an just splice it in. Is it important to use weather proof connectors made for the lights if I plan to use a humidifier? Or can u just use male to female basic wire connectors?

Yes, Light to driver then driver to the wall. WAGO connector is good to use.
I ordered everything today light driver connectors and 18awg wall plug I just have to get wire to attach light to driver. Might just cut up a old extension cord.

You should use a good heat sink with a thermal conductive pad to run those qb96 boards. You’ll want to make sure you don’t overheat the boards.

HLG used the SSTX heat sink with those in the HLG 225 fixtures they sold.

HLG sells the boards along with the pin heatsink and the adhesive thermal pad for $69, which is what it looks like the OP purchased.

Do I need to moisture proof the light it's self or connection on light? I only received one connector so I'm just wing the driver directly to the light. I plan to run a humidifier eventually.
