More to come I just need more wood lol. Im using cfl lights right now I have 8 23watt cfls how many more bulbs u think ill need for this space and watts
 
more than that... my little area that i use is like 2x2x4 and i have eight lights in there now and its still not enough all mine are 23 watt too.. so probably more bulbs than that if you can
 
Spring for 4 foot T5's, you can place them in the corners.
The bulbs I am using are 54 watts each.
Thats 216 watts.
Do 6 vertical four foot single bulb T5 lights at 54 watts each it adds up!
324 watts and since it's delivered from the sides it will be bright as He'll in there!

If you want to spend $150 a light you could put 3 total $450, you mount the four bulb fixtures vertical .
They come with bulbs installed and they daisy chain.

You The lower ambient heat and lower energy use.
A picture of my description on a smaller scale. You could also add an overhead Mogul based CFL.

Great Idea with the T-5's you'll be able to control the heat..But you have a fan in there so you may be thinking of a lower watt mh/hps...Is it finished yet? Or you've been busy an or baking too much ,lol,,jk....
 
Ya ive put it off all winter had shit all piled inside of it and top of it. Im going to start on it again here in a few weeks. Ordered some northern light auto seeds kinda puttin the rush on things now cause ill want to plant them soon lol. So keep an eye out

I picked up these hps lights today there both for 400watt but one has a 250 watt bulb in it will both of these be to much for this size grow room or use both at 650 watts total or could I even get another 400 watt bulb
 
what size is that fan? my grow space is 40"wx30"dx4'h..i use a 445cfm fan with a 400w hps and temps are 77-85 depending on the temp outside the grow space(my bedroom) so i cant imagine running both and being able to keep temps on the good side. you plan on standing that up tho right?
 
No I plan on keeping it the way it is I am planting auto NL and auto sour diesel haze and they dont get very tall but if its a problem I can make top higher.
 
my 400w hps is atleast 14" away from my plants so keep that in mind. good luck tho. ive smoked both of those and they are good
 
I can always cut holes in the floor so the pots can rest on garage floor that will give me about 8 more inches as well. Should I make a intake for this as well
 
just smoked. proper ventilation is a must. you gotta bring fresh air in constantly. light leaks will be troublesome to the yield. if you made that box vertical and used the 400 and 250 with a good fan you would get a much better yield come harvest.
