Update Time - Quantum Girls

Decided to post some pics of current flower runs under various Quantum rigs I have .
Been busy getting these flowering and deciding on some new seed pops after.

QB 304 / COB rig ( 3500k ) - My OG RIG

3 BERTA 2.0 ( NL ) - northern lights hybrid ( from a seeding project I ran last year ).
Layered mix ( recipe 420 base / recipe 420 recharge dry fert / Dynomyco / pumice / EWC / kelp meal )
Roots Organic Terp Tea Bloom - once a week.

QB96 w/ Sunblaster T5HO ( Pure Par ) rig

This one is running the Agromax Pure Par bulbs with the QB96s …. I plan to swap those bulbs with the Pure UV / 10000k finisher bulb later in the grow. But so far so good .

She is lookin good and stacking up , I took some clones from this one and have them in cups currently.

2 BERTA NL - SOG STYLE

These two are thickening up pretty well too.

Blackbird -

2 Muchacha F7 autos - Shaggy girls.

Kind of interesting shaggy look to them but man do they stink - pungent / pepper / woodsy .
Also have a Hazeman King Kong Poison going on in there. Plus various clone cups.

She was a bit finicky with other dry fert feed ( the claw ) so I just give her the Terp Tea bloom once a week.
May prune this snuffaluffagis some too.

All is looking good as usual. Would expect nothing less of you. Keep growing those beautiful flowers. I continue to learn more and more about, medium to grow and how to build it in the pots. Have got a lot of good information for use dry fertilizer and to stay away from that synthetic bottled unicorn sweat.:peace:

Muchacha F7 - prune up day / maintenance

Pulled these 2 shaggy sisters out today and did some minor pruning / thinning. They were over done on some nitro but seem to be pulling thru it.
I wanted to clear some of the jungle for better air flow thru them. Temps have been still pretty cool out here in cali and had to try to balance a good ambient temp for them ( especially at lights out ) . Should have probably LST them but it is what it is.

They are on Roots Organic Terp Tea Bloom only now as I think my layered mix is still somewhat charged ( hence the claw ).
I am now on a water / water / feed type of grow with them hoping the nutes deplete a little faster for them.

There is on of my KKP S1 seed starts in the front. Wifey loves the heady cerebral from that one , blue dream plus I call it .

G8 Bloom Booster rig - 630 nm / 660 nm led

I decided to pull this one out once again ( to use with my OG QB 304 boards ) as they do not carry any reds - only 3500k .
I kinda like the damn thing cuz it does one job - throw intense red nothing else. As far as a supplemental light , it works with any setup.

I left it on after main rig shutdown to highlight the intensity it puts out. It’s a 90 watt lamp. My iPad camera sucks ass so it doesn’t illustrate the true intensity and low light pics. I run it on a timer during the 12 / 12 cycle.

So what does that red light do to help when the main rig is off? Do you run light 24/7 with the red on for 12 then the main rig comes on for 12 after the red goes off. I thought 24 hours of light with no rest was not good to do? Do is it good for autos and fems? My led has red lights in it. They look real good as usual. I have noticed that with the grows you have shared. So you are giving them the spectrum they need, kinda like the flip from MH to HPS?

Its basically a supplemental light for flowering. Without getting too nerdy on subject the boost adds to flowering. Something that getting pretty common in modern grow lights.

My original boards are older 561c leds and they are still truckin …. So i add this lamp on occasion to add more useful light to the flowering stage.

But she throws a hell of lot of it.

The G8LED 90W Red Flower Booster is a supplemental flower enhancing light that can be added to any flowering room or grow area. Within a few days of adding this light next to your G8LED Veg/Flower light, there will be a noticeable increase in flowering. The PAR Value of the Flower Booster is 770μMol/m2/s. The Flower Booster increases flowering size, density, and overall yield by increasing the red and hyper-red wavelengths and adding more light intensity to the grow room during the critical flowering phase.

Flower Boosters can be added alongside any LED, HPS, MH, plasma, or fluorescent lighting during the flowering cycle and provide coverage for a 3foot (91cm) diameter. The hanging distance for the Flower Booster bloom light is at the same level as the Veg/Flower light. This light can also be placed vertically or angled towards the plants.

So does the red light cast a shadow when the main rig is on? It is hard to tell from the picture it looks like it is under it? Sorry so many questions just curious about the set up. My light is a bat wing type that will only barely fit inside my tent, can I still do that? My red light would have to go directly under my led. Do just move the plants around and do keep turning them if so how often would be a good idea? That is so they get even light if their were a shadow?

No shadow to speak of , I angle this light .
Plus at the time , I resurfaced the tent walls with more reflective mylar (vivosun) .
( see pic )

Note to self : Might have to do it again.

Apparently the original website DORMGROW went bust , out of biz or some shit. I payed $150 for them each.
They were pretty well built and had mine since 2015 .

Got it, picture shows both on so you ran the red light at the same time. Would the red light running simultaneously with the led increase the buds in flower only, or do you run them all the way thru. That chart shows it helps during veg too? So it is ok to run both say for autos 18/6?

I have only been running autos indoors since I got back into this last year. Love to grow fems outside. We will be legal 07/01/2023 and can go back outside got a nosy neighbor that is an ass and can see down into my yard back yard where the best max sun would be. He don’t like us because we have pool parties in the summer.

I’ve Been on an ethos kick lately but am looking for other suggestions.
Had good runs with Hazeman , BOG , Dutch Passion and some others.
The Muchacha are Twenty20 - weird looking but stanky.
If it’s autos you’re looking into I very much like ACE seeds Malawi x NL auto! It’s so unique to smell and smoke. Trippy to start which then tapers off into a warm cosy high. Smoke another and bam flying again. After a day of smoking it one is left quite contently confused lol

It’s a shame cause Rocbuds autos are fire! But really hard to get hold of. I’ll let you know when he drops if you interested? Easier to buy his seeds state side. Terpy seed bank and multiverse beans usually gets then!

Haven’t grown many photos (smoked a fair few tho) but Kali mist by serious seeds is epic smoke!

I love seeing inside your garden BB. Gets my mouth watering everytime. Im envious as hell of the space too. Regarding the red light, I have an old 100w blurple light that has veg and bloom switches so I could just turn on the red bloom lights. You think it would be worth my time to add it over my 4 autos? Thanks again for the cannaporn!

Usable light is useable light. Side lighting / angle lighting i would think would help in more penetration.

I have a few OLD blurples in the garage - one i kinda liked was that ol viparspectra 600.

But G8 ‘s are the only mono led style rigs I continuously use to supplement.

I say go for it.
