Hmm, well. Not much to show yet. I have a bit of a new dilemma, (max) 6x.7a translates to a frag more than my battery charger puts out before going through a bizzare pulse-charge phase.
The math has become a bit clearer. A veg section (2x3070's driven up to .7a .. with fans draws over 4amps/12v..) would be possible to maintain with a couple of panels & batteries (several different ways) but much more would be a big additional expense, possible but not something to bother with without good purpose.. A lot would depend on grow style but solar flowers would be an additional 4 x .7a 3070's = almost 9a @ 12v (108a/ flowering day) (ie. up to 3x105a batteries storage and maybe 3 120watt solar panels / 3 season growing ie +$1100/1200) ..hmmm.. maybe one day..
Meanwhile, maybe another meanwell

Almost done with the flower light bar. Not sure what there is to say with the 12v side, I';m wiring each light sepearately so can switch to more 12v drivers if I want to add more solar panels some time...
anyhow, just another grow, some pics of the build might help someone, sometime.

It has my light starved baby Jack 47's under a 5000k.
I'll tone down the flower lighting with some switches to slow the ak mom (The ak pic on page 2)for the next run, shes starting to re-sprout already.
Her first effort was 2.5oz's of just awesomeness. smooth, fruity (its cherry with a hint of evil funk )
, sticky, heady. The other AK's iv'e grown had tighter nugs, these are probably a bit airly from the floodlights.

Wow, well @ .7a these things are giving off less than a degree C to anywhere I can measure on the cob or sink 
Damn, I have no experience with F1 though, one little girl is under 5K, and it's twice the size of that under 4k. The two fans on the ends of channels work better than a central fan. Can keep the bar low enough so the fans make the plants twitch constantly.

Slow start, unheated.. and they needed some liquid help (the short one still has very red stems despite the same treatment).. anyhow, off & running. First topped above node 4 and once more to come. They did the uneven stretch while still under CFL, they may just be leggy phenos? My other LED grows/strains have stayed relatively short. The light could be an inch or two away, doubt they'd burn, being slow it takes time to see what is 'healthy' at their stage.. i wonder if its close enough still?
In the pots
30 coco 15 peat 25 growstone 30 compost, crushed bluestone, some local soil some rice hull & amendments. I've been plastering the bottom side holes with straight compost in these pots.. hmm, maybe the girls are avoiding it this time..

hmmm, i'm really impressed.. these 3070's are a noticable shift in light quality
but.. with such low wattage, no additional heat, my usual struggling starts, these (Jack 47) girls have been epically slowwww!! Mainlined to 8 nice tops (almost) but now 12 weeks old!)

LoL- Here's the AK mum, turned back to re-veg the same week the above seeds were planted.
This is just such a lovely plant, delicate looking with it's small re-veg growth, maybe a little hungry it looks. And a very nice smoke. She'll be the last run under my SGS before it too retires.
I took two clones for my following cabinet run but atm, for a few days more, they are cramped by my mate's crazy 2 week old!! sativas for our outdoor grow
a year old mk ultra clone and a few chillies
Hopefully i'll be back to four plants soon, 12 gets me edgy!
but.. with such low wattage, no additional heat, my usual struggling starts, these (Jack 47) girls have been epically slowwww!! Mainlined to 8 nice tops (almost) but now 12 weeks old!)

Lol.. we ordered 4 sativa varieties each. The seedbank sent a new form of stealth packaging with seeds loose in 'pill' style storage. The trouble is that with no markings or indication of what it was and as it came with another gift, by the time we got it apart it (of course) ended up -upside down. Seeds went everywhere!
We have Thai xVietnam, Maui, Durban, Kali etc but no idea which is which

Day 18, stretchy but with many nodes. Things are gonna get cramped, the leaves don't seem to mind, i'm hoping I can trim back just enough so by late bud the colas (the 8x 1/2 zip colas) are away from the walls. Maybe the .7a cobs won't punch to the bottom of long colas or lower buds? I'm not thinking a screen's gonna help much, i'll let them go! Some need slowing down a bit, they say around 60 days for Jack 47, they look and are growing more jack than 47.

Kinda late as this post was awhile ago but i have these same timers. You have to power these with 12 volts DC. The switch side can be AC power. I power mine with a small meanwell 12 volt power supply. Then you just run the LINE going to the LED driver to the switch side. You for sure dont want to run the LED driver output side threw the switch as it can cause driver damage when the switch is off because the driver would still be powered on with no Load. You always want to Switch your LED drivers on the input side so when the switch is off the driver is not Powered up.

Thanks Java, that side of the build is on hold for now, just using a mains timer. I'll use them to switch 12v drivers when it comes time. Been a steep learning curve but i'm getting a better idea of what's what.
Cheers dba, I worked out the Vietnam Black as we had three of them with similar very thin leaves but the others are a mystery, all getting big quick!
