Buds still small ??

Hi people I am 5 weeks into flower and my buds don't look anywhere near as big as other people's I see at 5 weeks, do you think there could be a problem? I am feeding every water once a day with:
Canna A&B 1/4 strenght.
Cannazym 1/4 strength.
Rhizotonic 1/4 strength.
Buddahs tree advanced meta boost 1/2 strength.
Buddahs tree pk 9/18 1/2 strenght
I am using passive intake but have to have the vents closed to get negative pressure as I only have a 4 inch extraction (which I will be upgrading after this grow) and the humidity has been between 15-20 % at the top of the canopy, I just bought humidifier but it won't fit in tent it's packed full with plants, what do you think? Thanks

Have you grown this particular strain before or is this the first time? It's impossible to predict bud size at a given moment in development if you haven't dealt with it before.

I have six different strains and five of them are budding wildly with a high level of maturity, while one of them is chugging along producing baby buds. If this was the only strain that I was growing I'd be feeling like you right now.

So what strain is it, and does anyone else have any experience with that particular strain?

Also, if you expect anyone to be able to diagnose any problem you'd have to take a picture with decent white lights on. There is no way to determine any type of nutrient deficiency or burn based on these pictures.

Also again, on reread, yeah your a humidity is way too low. If it's a matter of space you can get a reptile tank ultrasonic humidifier that has a pipe that will just allow you to use one of your vents while running it outside the tent.

Also also, what are your lights?

Thanks for the reply, I have never grown this strain before it is a josh od I was told by the fella I got the cuttings off, the light seems white when I look at it with my eyes but when I take pictures it looks red il try to get some better pics tomorrow I have no other bulbs at the minute , I had it on 250w for start of veg then 400w to end of veg and then I put it up to 600 a week into flower, I will look up the reptile tank humidifier I just thought I could get away with it because some people have told me that low humidity isn't as much of a problem in flower.
Thanks again

And what strength do all these nutrients equate to?

what’s the ppm or EC of your solution before you feed?

Are they 5 weeks since flip? Or 5 weeks of actual flowering?

There’s a big difference!

Where you running your 600w lamp dimmed down to 250 and 400?

That can have a detrimental effect on the lamp.

how old is the lamp? New for this flower period?

Humidity is rather low but the fan you have is not enough to run a 600w lamp either so could be heat related too.

as it’s a new strain for yourself what’s your point of reference when you say “others”?

this strain could just be a more sativa leaning strain which means it could be flowering for longer and take a little time to start filling out.

5 weeks is only half way ,they'll swell up some more further down the road imo

Thanks for the reply, I have not been measuring ec or ppm I have not got the meter right now, I just check ph with bluelab pen and adjust it to 5.9 or 6 , I will get ec meter next payday as I have just spent a lot on a humidifier and I am 5 weeks since flip not actual flower, the plants in general seem fairly healthy the leaves are slightly on the dark side but they are all perked up.
Thanks again

Yes I use a ballast for the light which ranges from 250 to 660 the bulb has been used for 1 grow before and now this one right the way through, do you think I should change it? And I will definetly be getting a bigger extraction fan for next grow probably 6 inch.
Thanks

Your humidity is causing an extremely high vpd
The high VPD is causing your stomata to close to prevent water loss.
This causes less transpiration, less nutrient uptake yadada..

Find the balance my friend..
Ok I will do my best to get humidity up, thankyou

Better to take more advice as I should have said that's my assumption.
Your plant is stretchy, hard to tell the colour of the leaves from the photos, could heat be also another issue? Then again high heat and low humidity would bring your vpd to epic numbers. Lol
In saying this, from the photos, the buds dont look too bad, but the plant does look a bit stretched and that's usually from environment.

Yea I had the light too far from canopy early on in flower its closer now, the top of tent by the light is 31 degrees celcius

After all our conversations last time you still didn’t get an EC meter :wall:

I know I'm an idiot, I left a 6 month gap between my 1st grow and this one so I forgot a few things and when I was offered some cuttings I just took them and started a grow straight away without thinking of everything I would need I only remembered the ec when I saw it mentioned in a forum just before I flipped but I will definitely be buying one in the next couple of weeks.

looks a lot like my brothers plants in Belgium and if 5 weeks since flipped then like his give it about 2-3 weeks and they should start to fatten up. Get you a light meter so you can check par. Need strong light for big buds. May wanna start looking into led also.

Thanks for the reply, I have just looked light meters up and some of them are only £20 would one of those work or would I better investing in a more expensive one?

You’re using HPS 600w.

don’t allow your plants to exceed 3ft tall and you won’t need to lollipop.

if your plants exceed 3ft tall lollipop everything that is beyond 3ft from the canopy.

keep your 600w around 12-18” away as long as your hand isn’t too hot at canopy level then your plants won’t be either.

Save your £20 towards a BLUELAB EC truncheon.
