Buds on fan leaves?

I noticed this today on one of my apricot kush plants, it's only happening on the top kola and it's happening on 4 of the leaves around the kola but they all have a lot of hairs growing out of them. This is the biggest one. Is this normal?

I've had some tga do this. I think Timewreck. Some strains just get excited.

I kept a Timewreck clone for a year. Same every time. It seems genetic. I was told it came from bloodwreck parent. Could Google it and check the lineage.

Can I take a clone from a flowering plant and revert it to veg state? If so I'll make a mother from the clone

Yes, will take longer to root and will take some time to re-veg depending on how far it is into flowering but I've done it several times to save a pheno.

I just recently had one of my phenos produce the same thing, I call them bonus buds

Awesome thanks, just cut 3 clones from it. It's only 2-3 weeks from harvest so good info that it might take a bit to root

No problem, definitely need some patience with them but it's saved my ass a few times.

not sure if thats exactly a trait i would want...... But cool none the less.

The Timewreck I had that did that was quite good. I think I have a bean or two left. Maybe next round.

Ya my dawg cookies cut is fire and won't do it Everytime but will if you hit her perfect. She'll get huge and put out smokable calyxes on base of fan leaf gotta love it @doniawon said it's one of his favorites

I have this happen all the time, i think your plants are just happy.

Here's my buds growing on the fan leafs. Got this on probably 5 or 6 leafs towards the tops of the Colas

I have seen it a few times. I asked the Breeder of the seeds about it. He said it is an Asian Thai trait.

And so is this. But it's the first time I saw it. The buds are attached to the leaf petiole and snapped right off with them at harvest.

These are from a Herejuana x Jack 33.

Its not genetic although it may help.. Imo this is a acid abundance in your plant causing mutating

Well I have never heard that before but I'm not disputing it. Maybe it spurrs the anomaly?

The pheno that did this so much is definitely chocolate Thai heavy. The Breeder has seen it but that doesn't mean he knows either.

What causes the acid buildup, nutes? Too much?

It's getting more common to see this! 3rd or 4 th post about that here in a year....

(Amino acid)...repressed trait, that is brought out by a particular amino acid increase or "overexposure"? Hell could be underexposure too!
Amino's affect gene sequencing expression!...I mean that's what amino's do, affect translation of mRNAs or maybe better to understand that Amino Acids are regulators of genetic expression...
