buds drying toooo fast WHY??

I harvest my buds on monday and hang dry them they are all big colas, by wed or thursday they are already getting crispy on the outside and ready for jars? WHY SO FAST??

my temp is 70 deg 40% RH i have a fan not blowing directly on them.

i do live in cali where its a bit more dry but i hear people hang dry there buds for 1-2 weeks.

I'd say the Humidity.

im sure thers plenty of moisture still in those buds dnt sweat it once they are in jars with lids they will get real wet again

The inside of the bud is still wet, thats why you check to see if the stem snaps when you bend it.
