buds ,browning

please help Iam nearing the end of a very wet and humid outdoor growing season in Sydney Australia one branch is packed full of buds.one of the buds leaves are going brown and when you take them off they look as if they have rotted from the stem outwards.I am scared that this will spread.I only have a few weeks left b4 the cold weather what should I do?

sounds like mold only thing to do is chop down and dry quickly, sucks but only way to save it. make hash?

Is there anything I can spray it with? Or will that kill the smoko?
