Ya I would go with Hydros suggestion get an HID 400W will be plenty for your space. Anything extra on the power bill if at all would be minimal so you could realistically double your yield.

Yes, I hate to admit it, but it doesn't add up for me, either. Here are a few pics of plants just harvested. 1-2 same plant (Zookies) and 3-4 other one ( Forbidden Fruit).
You need to fill out your canopy alot better I shouldnt be able to see the floor in your pics. As far as density your lights are too far away or you aren't letting the plants finish would be my guess

Wow! I was told when pistils are orange and start curling like that, it's done. So I flushed then cut. So how do you know that?
So 5 months total next time perhaps?
Also, is there a curing method OR minimum time I should aim for (current curing/hanging plants)?

In the pic all the hairs are totally white I was referring to that

Some white, some orange. At least 99% "curled".
"Curled" doesn't really mean anything in the pic you posted I would call that 100% white. Do you have a pic of them when you harvested? The hairs aren't always a good way to tell to begin with I have some strains with very few white hairs left but the plants have 2-3 weeks to go here's a couple pics of my plants that have 2-3 weeks left.

Clear trichomes- not ripe. Doesnt mean it isnt smokable, but it wont be in its prime overall. It will lack potency and possibly may not have hit its peak terp profile either.
Clear/Milky trichomes- Still not fully ripe but getting close so pay attention. The window between now and ripeness is getting smaller. The milky thrichomes are an indication that the buzz will almost surely be more intense and last longer than if harvested when all clear.
Milky trichomes- Your flavor and terp profiles are likely going to be on full tilt at this point. Terp hunters may find this a perfect time to chop as to preserve the harvest at its highest peak of flavors/aromas/etc but possibly at a sacrifice on potency.
Milky/Amber trichomes- It is fully ripe & ready for chop, as this is considered by most to be the "peak" time to harvest. All cloudy means it is peak flavor/aroma etc, while the amber almost guarantees the full effect that the plant is capable of. Amber in the mix is the plant saying that it is ripe and you have seen pretty much everything it is capable of. The potentcy at this point will be at about peak as well.
Amber trichomes- If you are about full amber than the plant is past its "ripe" stage and in terms of fruit, it is getting bad and the levels of thc and all of the flavor profiles are decreasing as the days pass.

Obviously this is all very subjective, but it has been a good gauge for me over the years.

im a tech geek but never got to the level of build your own led's but I spent way too much money in the beginning on lights. Get yourself a good solid hps setup. I was shocked at what happened to my buds. I know what you are looking for. leds are ok for veg but will never get you the nugs you are looking for ... imo from my personal experience with those lights.

Hello @David Ferguson. Your plants on the pictures look okay.

There are 3 major factors that can make the bud denser or looser.

The light: A lack of light would inevitably make the buds less dense. The vipar spectra may not have a lot of light penetration?
The Strain: To get dense buds, you need a strain that produces dense buds. Mainly indica strains :weed: like Blueberry or Herijuana are super dense!
The Humidity Level: If it's above 55% humidity in your grow room, the plants won't flower the same way and the buds will end up looser.

Hope this helps brother!

As always my friend @HydroRed advice is on point. Just one other option you might want to consider is a vertical 315 cmh fixture should rock that area. I just saw a sunsystem 315 cmh fixture that has the ballast built in and a Philips 3100 bulb included for like 330 roughly. Think it was hydrobuilder.com . This or the hps will get you what your looking for . You will be moving on to something that will produce more heat( most likely). Would be best if you could keep it below 80 degrees.
