What would be the cheapest grow setup out there to do indoors. For a yield of an oz.
I'm thinking about gathering a list of things I can use as substitutes for nutes, and expensive lighting.

Whats a cheap way to have it in a box?

thanks for your advice and help!!

A 400w will pay for itself after your first harvest, it will be a lot more than an ounce! Foxfarm nutes and Pro mix or sunshine mix #4 soil, good results!!! CFL's are cheaper but it wont be as good quality.

hey this is the simplest I have found!!!!!! get alot of coco i mean about 100 dollars worth, thick and chunky, then use a rain steel building siding and make one side higher so the water can drain into a res tank then go back through the system on a drip that drains into the res using a sub pump and a couple of lines check out my journal I will show you

If youa re in the USA, One $20 ($34 shipped) econolight 150w hps, one cabinet from a goodwill, some rapid rooters $1, cloning gel $5, ph liquid kit $15, thermometer $2?, space blankets for mylar $2, pots under $1 or just use whatever plastic container you have around that's not toxic and drill drainage holes in it. Use whatever fans you may have around already, even computer fans and etc. cheap timer $5 MG soil with nutes in it $3. Reflector for light $free (any piece of metal bent into a batwing.

If your MG soil runs out of nutes you may have to buy some shultz super bloom $5 (but whoa be careful, use a fraction of what the label says in pre nuted soil.

$68? Plus whatever used cabinet you may need to buy. Best cab for one 150w hps would be about 2sf of floor space. as in 1' deep and 2' wide and maybe 3' tall minimum but taller is totally good up to about 5' max unless you partition it off.

This can easily yield about 3-4oz and you may already have some things to use for this and could actually start vegging with only part of the stuff if you don't have enough cash at the moment..

You have to open that link twice is the answer to the question you haven't asked yet.
If you can afford it get a cabinet twice that wide and two lights. Buy the two lights at once, the shipping is the same price I think.
Call them and say you couldn't get through the online order process, there's something wrong with YOUR computer apparently and I bet they ship free.
