i planted my 2 outdoors plants about 2 or 3 weeks ago, they developed preflowers and now seem to be budding. it will revert back to vegetative right?

no, it's gonna be fucked up. i had this happen last year. i started pulling them all and replacing them. everyone here said "DON'T PULL THEM!! they will reveg". i left 3 or 4 to see what would happen. they never fully recovered. i wasted a lot of time and space. it would be better to just start over.

so what happened to the ones you left? did the finish budding or just take forever to revert back?

Might try taking some clones if you don't have anymore plants. If they're only a week or two into budding, it could still work.

If they're small and near your house you can cover them with a box or something at night and run an extension cord out there for a cfl in the box to force them to stay awake for a week or two 24/7.

They will have no choice but to turn around either way, the only question is how long will it take.

I hope you're not all worried over just preflowers though, that's nothing.

Reveg can take quite a long time sometimes with certain strains so I'd plan on them NOT turning around and start some new beans now, or as was said take clones now too if that's your only option. The clones you take today from the same plants could potentially still surpass the mothers if the mothers do get held up in reveg too long.

You need a backup plan.

Yeah but what happened, did they finish budding? This is happening to me right now and im fuckin pissed because I thought I had got such a head start...and then they started flowerin wtf

depending on where you live, they should reveg...

when you see new nodes/leaflets on top of the buds I recommend snipping off all the buds without harming new growth for a faster reveg because the plant is still putting energy into the buds and not new growth.
If all goes well you should end up with a bushy plant.

you could dry and smoke those immature buds to give a "preview" of what your final product is capable of.

CHECK THIS OUT

Can u tell which are reveging?

cooool thread i needed to know this too i have a super little seedling plant like 3 months old that has been outside flowering for like 2 weeks and im just gonna leave it and maybe kill it in like 1 or 2 months if it dosnt ''reveg''

So then this plant should be fine....I started it super early and was takin' it in everynight under fluoros, then got lazy and put it out for good early...its not far into flowering at all but it should be going back to veg right now but it doesnt seem to be:cry:
